There were problems with the solicitors further down the chain, and Emma was very persistent in getting it sorted out for us. Obviously we were more than happy as we also got a sale at a very good price. Aiden followed up every phone call we made to the office and got back to us as promised. All in all a Happy Andy Miles.

After a frustrating weekend we finally found a property we like through direct move. The same day that I spoke to Ricky he got me a viewing. At the property along came Ella the apprentice to show us around full of knowledge and smiles which helped because we were stressed out. Ella also threw remarks at us which prompted us to ask more questions (apprentice not for much longer). Finally a phone call from Emma to explain problems which could happen. My tone wasn't the best I'll call it cracking up. Emma was so understanding of pressure and stress. A big apology to Emma. I finish with a great thanks to all the team. Thanks.

My wife and I put our two houses on the market with Direct Moves in June 2019 following a long period without success with two previous Estate Agents. In mid July they had found a buyer for one of our properties in Dorchester and ten days later another buyer for our Weymouth property. They also successfully negotiated the purchase of our new property in Weymouth. I can't speak highly enough about how helpful and friendly the staff were throughout. During the process we went to Direct Moves office and spoke to Emma Hughes. During our visit Emma called all parties and their solicitors in our presence and there and then managed to get them all to agree a completion date, we were so impressed. The whole process from sale agreed on the second house to our moving into our new address took only nine weeks. We would like to thank the Directors Emma and Barry and also Ben who showed us around a number of properties during our search. Also Dan and Rick in the office who were also very helpful. Not forgetting Elliott who, whilst viewing a house, originally introduced us to Direct Moves who acted so well on our behalves. THANK YOU.

This is the second time we have used Direct Moves in Weymouth. The first time was for the purchase of our new home in Weymouth four years ago and as buyers, we were very satisfied. When we looked to move again, we did our due diligence and saw four local estate agents before making a decision. Of the four we saw, Dan from Direct Moves won the day for a number of reasons: fair pricing system, no-nonsense approach, solid market analysis and a calm and intelligent conversation without the hard-sell blah-blah that we experienced from the others, who were all ready to bad-mouth their competitors. Dan laid out the package, spoke with us as if we were normal, intelligent human beings (little does he know haha!) and then left us in peace to make up our minds. In this particularly unpredictable market, Dan's marketing strategy made sense and proved to be effective. We had an offer after the very first viewing but unfortunately, our potential buyer proved to be rather unreasonable and incapable of making any concrete decisions. Emma (Dan was on holiday at this time) proved to be an absolute star and did her utmost to steer everybody through the negotiations. It became apparent that this wasn't the buyer for us and we received invaluable advice from Emma and moved on to find another buyer almost immediately, who proved to be a perfect fit for us! We exchanged contracts two days ago and we cannot wait to move into our new home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dan, Emma and all the team at Direct Moves Weymouth. We definitely feel like they earned their fee and we are delighted to give them a 5* review. Thank you guys!

One of the worst estate agents that I have come across. They possibly spend more time combing back their hair than they do on concentrating on what they should be doing. Too focused on their image, hitting targets and earning their bonus They already know what properties that you are seeking and how many bedrooms, but they still email you any properties that they are marketing. There is no continuity of communication across their office. You may have booked a viewing, then the young male adviser who booked the viewing phones you a week later with a feeble excuse as to why he has to re schedule it to an open day viewing. Booked for a few days later to make the viewing fair?? Then, the following day i phone up and the property is sold. Very unprofessional I’m wondering if any of these staff members once worked for Connell estate agents?

Firstly I would like to say there member of staff called Elliot was fantastic he was a caring honest and his customer service was exemplary and put all of his colleagues including the owners to shame. My experience at direct moves was ruined by the poor people skills, customer service and handling of clients and I am astounded to hear they have won a customer service award as in my experience and many others I have spoken to its abysmal. The staff were very pushy throughout trying to make me accept bids on my property when I knew I could get more and ended up getting what I wanted by sticking my ground. I feel we have been midlead by direct moves. We were over charged by £300 as the agreement i made was that they would match a £1500 including VAT quote i had from another estate agent. I was then charged £1500 + VAT which amounts to £1800. On the whole some staff we were dealing with were very rude, very pushy and I will never ever use direct moves again, being only 23 and buying my second home this is a loss as this won't be the last home I buy or sell. I have also informed many of friends looking to first time buy in the next year and they have assured me they will not be using direct moves due to the way myself and partner have been treated. I REPEAT I STRONGLY ADVISE DO NOT USE ......

We sold our house with Direct Moves and the service was impeccable. It was the first time we had sold a property and we were guided through the entire process by Dan and his team. From the initial enquiry, we had our house valued and put on the market within 48 hours. Once it was on the market, we had a high number of viewings and we sold our house for the desired price within 4 weeks. Once the sale was agreed, Direct Moves liaised with our solicitor to ensure a quick transaction and we completed within 6 weeks of the accepting the offer. I would highly recommend Direct Moves.

They navigated us through a fraught time to secure our sale. I cannot praise Emma Hughes and her team more highly, especially Dan and Ben in getting me through a particulary stressful 7 months with my first buyer pulling out near the point of exchange after 5 months. Dan wasted no time in remarketing my apartment and in less than a week they found another buyer. However with a distinct lack of communication between the various solicitors l was very worried that l might lose my purchase. Emma stepped into the breach and on several occasions chased up both ends of the chain to see where everyone was at. Emma was exemplary in allaying any concens l had and keeping me updated on a regular basis. I also really liked the fact that everyone in the team were more than competent to handle any queries l had and if they didn't know the answer to a question one of the team got back to me within 24 hrs. This is one estate agent that really do care about their customers. They listen to your concerns and act swiftly to seek a resolution.
