Kerrigans came top of the list, being highly recommended for their professionalism, hands-on approach and the skill of being able to act as fair brokers balancing the needs of both the tenants and the landlord.
Since working with Kerrigans we have to say that their exceptionally high reputation is well deserved. During the last 10+ years up to and including the selling of our property, the level of service has been first rate. The team has successfully managed 3 changes of tenants, ensuring all the legal and regulatory requirements were complied with, and dealt with maintenance/ repair issues in a timely manner.

GoogleUnbelievable incompetence and ineptitude. Cannot handle personal sensitive information correctly, admin disorganised, lost data or asked me to repeat and submit the same infomation when applying for a property literally FIVE times within 24 hours.
Holds a non existant credit score or any credit score below 460 against you regardless of how many years ago it was. Will not let you rent a property without a guarentor, keeps your deposit if you wish to withdraw your application or if your application fails to pass a credit check. .
1st Update:

You were emailed my deed polls change of name legal documents to back up proof of current name, in addition to a passport, this has been accepted by NHS, and many government agencies, your female employee telephoned me and it was agreed with her i sent this, which i sent immediately after she hung up. I then asked her to withdraw the application as i wasnt happy with the service.
So, i suggest, you bother to check my last email to Kerrigans, see its attachments, retract your outrageous accusation and change your career to pulling pints, as you'll be best suited. If your response remains here, i will contact the authorities and file for defamation of character.
2nd Update:
Again... Kerrigans office continue to harrass leaving me voicemails and alter their response to my review. Their original response was completely different, it was fairly intimidating.
The private rented sector dont normally feel compelled to credit check induviduals, this new phenomenon is becoming a trend in Doncaster, hardly anywhere else. Have you become a lending institution now? No. You're a letting agent with something to hide, most likely to deflect from what your not doing that you should be. Anything to gloss up your image and make tenants / applicant feel stupid.
So, your response was altered on here, i take it, thats an admission of guilt from a guilty party. That'll teach you next time, not to be so quick to jump to conclusions. You're also taking this matter so casually, when you knew full well, you asserted the most innappropriate comment on a public domain.
3rd Update:
More perpetual lies. I explained on the phone to your offices, numerous times, when asked, to credit check myself with "Equifax" that i have attempted to do so, and explained to your useless admin, there is no trace of me, she and i, had this discussion already, i cant help it, if i dont exist on a system designed to put obstacles in the way of decent law abiding citizens accessing your services. How is that my fault???
You need to get rid of your policy or very soon you'll struggle to find tenants.
Do you not consider that people you have indeed credit checked and now live in one of your properties, can still get into debt without you being aware, but at the time of application, they got through the process. Its like a DBS / CRB check to get a job, for example, even if it passes, that doesnt mean circumstances wont change down the line. Or perhaps the person hasnt ever been caught.
Its called logic, and critical thinking, something
9 to 5 drones dont have the capacity to understand.
4th update:
A name change is completely normal, multiple times is normal. Dont make assumptions. People are entitled to do this, we live in a demoracy in a 21st century Britain, we have freedoms, common law, and human rights.
It should deeply alarm any reasonably intelligent reader, that the author of this review

The timescale from 2015 has no relevance either. My passport was accepted with deed polls by 100s and 100s of companies. YOU WERE the exception.

Connie you haven’t failed a credit check. Your change of name has not followed through onto your credit file and you are simply not recognised by the company we instructed to credit check you. We asked you to do an Equifax on yourself which is free but you are not happy doing this.
Update
You have withdrawn your application you have not failed references. Sadly without further information, which would be easy for you to get us, the application would fail.
It isn’t normal for someone to change their name 3 times, it is neither good or bad, it just caught us off guard when you told us. The change of name documents you have sent us are low quality and difficult to read.

The credit check organisations hold a massive amount of information about all of us, scary how much information to be honest. But nothing about you. As someone that makes financial decisions every day, I along my colleagues find that helpful, I am sorry you don’t agree.

GoogleMy daughter used this organisation when she rented a property in the Doncaster area. They failed to undertake ANY repairs, shower, bath leaking, boiler not working, cold tap flow very poor, no gardening tools provided to maintain the garden, smoke detector not working. They then argued about refunding the bond... what a set of ????*?? There are plenty of decent letting agents in Doncaster - stay away from this lot !
Update - kerrigans continue to try to keep the deposit money from my daughter. They now want £50 for window cleaning !!! Come on Kerrigans stop trying to rip people off. You lot never did a single repair in the property over the years she was in the property.

Hi Mr Peel - So your daughter has a different surname, we didn't realise.
The windows and frames had not been cleaned upstairs for 5 years, the entire tenancy. Your daughter arranged for someone to clean the windows, at our request, they did a poor job and never cleaned the frames. We paid someone to clean the frames. Your daughter agreed to pay £50. The DPS offer a free dispute service to tackle issues with deposits, if your daughter was unhappy with the suggested deduction she could have raised it for FREE with them. This was pointed out to her, and is also included in the DPS terms and conditions.
The property your daughter rented had had £4000 spent on it just before she moved in and had a brand new boiler during her tenancy, it recenty sold for just under £200k, which is alot of money in Doncaster.
The smoke alarms provided had a 10 year warranty, Fireangel are the biggest company supplying smoke alarms in the world and problems with Fireangel alarms are now well documented in main stream news and social media, now. 1st time this happened we helped get a free replacement, 2nd time it happened we explained how to claim on the warranty. FYI The fire service used to provide free smoke alarms to vulnerable people, they also made the same mistake we made of choosing Fireangel.
No garden tools are ever provided to tenants of unfurnished properties.
Your daughter was a good tenant, as was her friend/Co-tenant. I am sorry you feel my company did not look after them.
I hope she has settled in her new home, Anglesey is a beautiful place.

After you move out they check every inch of the property to be able to get some money of your deposit, they never check that professional when you move in first time in the property with pictures and everything....Don t get fooled people and if you don't have a choice to move in their property,make a nice picture album with the pictures of the property when you move in as they will pick on anything to get money from your deposit.Let s not forget the arogant owner and the repairs delays or to not answer at all if they need to spend money on the property. We assume Majorpain is not your name. It is difficult being a letting agent sometimes when landlords have different expectations as to how a house should be left compared to tenants. I am not sure which property you rented and why we requested money from your deposit but we were probably following landlord instructions.

We are sorry our standards did not meet with your expectations. Even though we did 7 viewings on that night, I remember you. We did tell you the property would be popular, you emailed us at 11.19, but we had already had applications as I indicated might happen. Regards shaking hands, introducing staff and saying goodbye, these are things I like to do and consider it highly unlikely I didn’t. But even if you had been the first person to apply we don’t normally accept people with low credit checks, and we never accept people that need guarantor’s for this type of property, 3 bed detached upwards of £700pcm.

Whilst ever the criminals are clever than the IT professionals this will continue to be a problem. Many people think the criminals are employee’s of the IT professionals moonlighting in their spare time.
My organisation has not been hacked but we have been phished and spammed. As stated in my email above, to the best of my understanding someone or company are aware of some names and email addresses and this could have come from any other source, as listed in my email.

I saw house that I like online for 450£ pcm. Phone them on Monday, woman takes my details and make appointment to view it on Friday. Ok. Phoned them on Friday to confirm it and women said there's no details of me making any appointments! And house rent now gone up 525£.
She said it was uploaded by mistake, but seeing other reviews it only convinced me that it was on purpose and one big lie.
Avoid them
Stupid people work there with no respect for customer.
