Poor Service, unsafe roads, no accountability

I bought a Harron Home in May 2017 and ever since have been riddled with issues. First my boundary wall has an major crack in it. I paid for an independent surveyors report which proved design flaws in the build of the wall, the main being the absence of weep holes. I provided this to Harron and they point blank refused to answer any of the challenges the surveyor raised.Once you’ve bought your house their after sale service is atrocious. They must have had over ten changes of customer service managers who more than likely left because the lack of morals Harron Homes stand exhibit.The roads are a disgrace, some work initially started on improving the roads but this just stopped, the local council refuse to take ownership of the roads still after 4 years. Numerous residents myself included have had suffered burst tyres and car suspension issues. The roads are uneven, bumpy, sinking and a disgrace to look at. We have escalated the matter repeatedly but Harron still refuse to communicate or complete the necessary remedial work. To make matters worse my eldest son fell due to a sinking in the road and broke his arm. These roads are unsafe and with many families on the estate we all fear for the safety of our children.Do the right thing Harron and take full accountability, these roads should have been completed years ago. Your customer charter says “We aim to get the quality, value and customer service right first time, every time.”You clearly are not living this because your customer service and quality are well below the expectations of all the residents at Ravenwood Fold Castleford.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Unfinished Development

4.5 years after moving in we still don’t have functioning drains. We had to have the drains dug up in 2017 just after moving in as the drains for the property wasn’t connected properly. A month with minimal access to our drive and front door and still no better. 4 years on still getting the same issues of the drains backing up, a survey was done at the beginning of 2021 that showed when the repairs were carried out on the drains under our property a connection hasn’t been fitted properly which is causing the current issues. I was promised by Karen the customer service manager at the time that all works would be paid for and completed ASAP to rectify the problems. We are now in July and have had no contact from Harron Homes. I called 2 weeks ago and spoke to customer service who was supposed to get someone to call me, I’m still waiting! I have also at my own costs had to rectify the damp proof course to the rear of the property as they had built the ground level over the dpc. I informed Harron Homes of this issue at the time and again was fobbed off. £600 later a proper builder with 25 years experience as a building inspector confirmed the error on Harrons part and rectified the issue for us. Lastly the roads, nearly 5 years people have been moved in on this estate and we have to surfaces into any of the roads, pot holes everywhere, uneven pavements and raised man hole covers. This has caused damage to many cars and also injury to a young child who tripped and broke his arm whilst playing out! Reading the replies to other reviews stating customer care are dealing with your issue and a liaising with you is a load of rubbish. Every resident is fed up of being fobbed off and still living on a building site not to mention dysfunctional drains.Do the right thing Harron and produce the finished goods to what the residents paid for.Please if you take this review with any seriousness Harron Homes then have someone call me back to discuss my situation. I will update this review accordingly.If you are thinking of purchasing from these guys before buying read the negative reviews, they are truthful. Harron reply to these reviews stating they have no record of that person on their database, this is more lies!Plot 42 Ravenswood Fold, Castleford.

Customer service extremely poor

Customer service extremely poor. Snagging issues still not completed 4 years later. Everything a Customer Service Manager seems to be onboard to resolve issues they leave and end up back to square one. Ince they have your money they just constantly fob you of. Shocking.

fake weep holes

Latest issue of many is fake weep holes.The house is full of issues and Harron’s homes hide behind the warranty company and refuse to help. Don’t buy from these guys you can do better! Customer services is a shambles.
