We had bought our house some 13 years ago with Allen & Harris so when we decided to move house we contacted Allen & Harris to make arrangements to sell it. Lisa and her team were very professional in the way they proposed our house should be marketed and in fact our house was originally sold very quickly, however due to the purchasers deciding to pull out after approx 5-6 weeks a new buyer had to be found, which Allen and Harris were very quick to achieve, whilst all the team were very helpful I will pick out Millie & Gemma as going beyond the call of duty.

We bought our house through Allen and Harris didcot. Millie, Lisa and the team there where great and supported us through the entire purchase. There were cases where communication among solicitors were failing us and Lisa made lots of efforts to ensure information was flowing to us and to the sellers and helped make the purchase a success. Millie went above and beyond from the very beginning to make sure we got a house we were happy to call home. It felt like she was genuinely invested in making sure we find the right place. We also used the services of Olivia Sword, the mortgage advisor there. The mortgage services do cost a small fee but it was immediately clear that it was worth it. Olivia was on-point with the entire process, with all the knowledge she has and her general proactiveness. With other mortgage advisors, I would have to chase down but Olivia was chasing us to make sure we had the best deals and everything sorted prior to exchange. I'm very impressed. I can confidently say that our experience with Allen and Harris was impeccable.

I had a viewing arranged by Millie who was very helpful. However someone else later called to cancel the viewing and told me someone would call to rearrange. Nobody called. Then the sales department didn't answer the phone or reply to my messages for the whole week. (I left 2 voicemail messages and spoke 3 times with the lettings department.) I finally left a message complaining and asking if it would be ok to contact the vendor directly. I was then called the following day with some excuse that the vendor is no longer selling the property or something, I didn't really fully understand it, and frankly by this time I didn't even care because I would not want to even consider buying the property unless it was listed with a more professional agent. I have never experienced such a frustrating interaction with an estate agent, and I would not recommend anyone to deal with the sales department of Allen and Harris of Didcot unless they like wasting time.

I emailed and called this company because I found several properties I was very interested in renting. I spoke to several members of staff and was repeatedly promised that someone would call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a return call, and in the meantime, the properties I was interested in were rented to someone else. If this is how potential customers are treated before even signing an agreement, I can only imagine what the level of service might be like afterwards. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been very disappointing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Me and my partner are really happy with our new home. Our one-bedroom flat is so cosy and feels just right for us. The landlord and the agents, Briony and Sulayman, were honestly great throughout the whole process. They communicated with us really well, always kept us updated and made sure we received all the documents we needed on time, which made moving in so much easier and stress-free. We also love the area! There are so many convenient shops nearby with pretty much everything we need, so we don’t have to travel far at all.
