Sorry hunters for this review being a bit late but we're almost settled now so here goes. If I could give more than 5 stars I definately would. They sold our house within a few days!! We tried the year before with others but after a few months we gave up. So glad we went with hunters. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Thanks to Rafique and Jack especially. They went above and beyond for us. They kept us informed every step of the way and were always greated with a smile. Any questions or worries were always sorted and reassured. I would highly recommend hunters to sell your house. We have been in our new bungalow on the east coast for just over 3 weeks now. Thank you so much for all your help.

We were lucky enough to buy and sell through Hunters and completed within 12 weeks. This was down to the fantastic efforts of Jack who supported us through the process every step of the way. We can’t thank him enough for the regular updates and keeping us well informed throughout the selling and buying of our houses, which made us feel at ease. We also couldn’t thank enough Rafiq who did our initial valuation and allowed us to find our new home through Hunters, which had everything we wanted and more! Very happy with the service we got from Hunters in Dewsbury with the sale of my late father’s house. I dealt with Rafiq who valued the house and then liaised with Jack Webb during the selling process who attended viewings for us and dealt with our buyers. I found Rafiq very helpful, discussing and taking on board specific aspects/features, and quickly getting the property to market (unlike another top proprietary competitor in the locality where customer perspective is secondary and property is deliberately under valued). Jack was especially helpful and courteous throughout, particularly going out of his way to conduct weekend viewings and liaising with the buyer. The only minor criticism I have is that Hunters do tend to focus more on supporting the buyer than the seller, presumably as the buyer is critical for generating their commission. That said, overall a satisfactory outcome for all concerned and I would, therefore, both recommend and use Hunters again.

After trying a few local estate agents and not getting much interest I decided to go through Hunters Dewsbury. Rafiq was great starting the process to get my property on the market quickly, fab photos and instantly had loads of interest, sold the property within 2 weeks. Jack was a superstar, we had so many problems with our ongoing purchase but Jack kept me and my buyer upto date regularly and listened to me stressing out on several occasions. Buying our first home was a big deal, but the team at Hunters made the whole process so much easier. They were super helpful, kept things running smoothly, and were always happy to answer our (many!) questions. A massive shoutout to Jack, who really went the extra mile for us. He even opened up the house a few hours before our third viewing to get the underfloor heating running, so we could properly check it out in an empty property, something we’d never have thought of! One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Awful customer service

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self
