I have kept an excellent record as a tenant in my previous homes. My experience with Lauren and Binal at the Fox & Sons London Road Southampton was a very terrible one as both representatives kept lieing at every point. At some point I stopped taking verbal communication from them except through emails just to have a proof. They were unprofessional and dodgy in picking calls,so I started to call the sales unit to help put my call through to the lettings unit. Please avoid letting agents of the sort. To before warned is to before harmed.very unprofessional staff, very poor communication.

I would highly recommend Fox and Sons, Axminster . They have been helping me sell my Mum's House and really went out of their way. They were so kind and patient with my Mum and explained everything to her on visits and made her feel she understood what was happening .The staff are so kind and knowledge able ,Leon went out of his way to help and couldn't do enough for us . Communication- poor Expertise- poor We’ve had more communication and a much better service from our seller’s solicitor- GTH- so I would recommend going with them instead. If your property is on the lower end price-wise, very little effort will be put in. Leon is great as a salesman but when it comes to the important stuff is not helpful unfortunately. Our property should not have been allowed to be put up for sale and so we lost 7 months due to their error. It would have been even longer without GTH’s valuable input. Bethanie, the manager, denied their wrongdoing for days, dodged our calls and emails until finally she held her hands up. We will be taking them to court. We understand issues arise, but they are not good at handling these and don’t have the knowledge, expertise or patience to help when things go wrong.

Harassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once

I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings.

When selling our house recently, we had quotes from local estate agents and chose Fox and Sons because they actually seemed to care and take an interest in us and our house! We were glad we did as we thought they were fantastic, Beth, Leon and Matt were friendly, helpful, professional and always available to answer any of our questions. (No matter how random they were!) Leon kept us updated throughout the process and we definitely felt that we were in good hands. Whilst Fox and Sons may not be the cheapest option, it was definitely worth it and we would thoroughly recommend them

Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number.

⁷I would give 0 if I could. Terrible experience with fox&sons London Road Brighton. We had our house advertised with them for bearly 6 months. We had 3 viewings & 10 cancellations, however, when you looked, they claimed we had 13 viewing. Our biggest mistake was to go with them. Totally unprofessional photos. We changed the agent and within a week we had 4 viewing & one offer!! Additionally, when we left this agent, they carried on advertising our house without our permission with a new price!! Dispute both written & verbal communications! Totally unprofessional. We should have read the reviews and avoided them at all cost!! So far we have had 2 offers and might have the final offer soon.

The property that Fox&Sons sold for me was an unusual and difficult one. Matt was the negotiator , who worked tirelessly over the months to get the appropriate price for me. He contacted every week to update me on the state of the market and eventually he acquired a buyer. Even after this, there were still difficulties but he succeeded. Awful mortgage advising service

Booked an appointment with one of their mortgage advisers, a lot of info i did not need to know that the company has x branches and have done x money on mortgages, just to be cancel on the second appointment. Got back to me after 4months saying he would help me that time, after a couple exchanges no more correspondence ive no idea whats going on. Meanwhile was contacted by another mortgage adviser she said to give her a change she’s different from her colleague. First appointment same things, second appointment a no show. Whats wrong with you people? Unbelievable. At least have the decency to cancel the appointment, i got out of work for the appointment waited 1h, even emailed and nothing.

Gosport Fox & Son - bad experience

Gosport. Pushy agents who will get a sale at any price including coming to your property without notice, walking through the grounds to the back door and scaring you to get you to accept a lower offer. I wish we hadn't been tricked into going with them as they offered success via a " boxing day" campaign and their "extensive" data based. Both yield nothing but low offers.

Do not use this Eastbourne Estate Agent

We feel our property was overpriced, which led to reduction after reduction in sale price. Did not respond to phone calls, or said things would be done that weren`t. To us the agents came across as arrogant, starting from not explaining the length of initial contract, right through to poor viewings both in numbers and quality of details given to possible buyers. Things were delayed because information was not passed through, and quite often was inaccurate. Very poor value for money. Instructed around the end of July 2022, completed 30th March 2023, pushed into a very short time between exchange and completion because of misinformation, and into a large reduction on our sale price.

The brighton branch

The brighton branch, has taken 2 years to get my dad's flat sold after he died. Recommended to sale the flat at auction by Ray Murphy, that fell through after months of trying to get it sold,then went down the normal route. This all starts out fine ,in 2022,then had two more offer ,these were not satisfactory, finally had an offer in August 2024 which has taken 5 months of us chasing to get over the line. Absolutely disgusted at the way this…

Absolutely disgusted at the way this company treated my son and his fiance. They had put a holding deposit on a flat and through no fault of theirs the landlady withdrew the flat and Fox and Sons refused to give them back their holding deposit. They could not afford to lose that money.
