Fantastic from start to finish. Lyn was like a personal shopper, she took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and perfectly matched a few carefully selected properties, helping us to shape our vision as we viewed them. James managed everything through the purchase, doing everything possible to support and guide. Light years away from the typical slightly bored looking agent stood in the hall with a clipboard and trapesing you around endless properties. Whether you are buyers or sellers, to my mind it’s a no brainer.

We have completed our sale of Stover Lodge Guest House today and we absolutely 100% recommend the team at Charles Darrow in Newton Abbot. Initially James was very realistic when we asked him for a valuation of our business and we were happy to let him guide us. When it comes to selling a property there is an increasing market of property Agents competing for business, with their fees being an obvious factor for consideration. Charles Darrow is not the cheapest Agent but we have no regrets commissioning them to sell our hotel. The service we received from Jon has been second-to-none, the hotel being promoted to a steady stream of potential buyers before an offer was made. Throughout the sales procedure Jon was actively engaged with us & the buyer at all times, including evenings, weekends and holidays if it proved necessary. The sale completed successfully on time (in line with his predictions on the Heads of Terms) and any issues were quickly resolved. Was it worth the fee? Absolutely as we only dealt with Jon from start to finish and he knows the business markets. He recommended some excellent Solicitors and we were fortunate our buyer commissioned one of his recommended Solicitors too. If we had commissioned a different Agent, and we did before engaging Charles Darrow, it's quite probable the hotel would still be on the market. Jon is evidence that one gets what one pays for, and compromising on fees may not work out financially worthwhile long-term taking other factors into consideration.
