We had a great experience with strakers, selling our house and buying. It sold within 2 weeks of going on the market! There were a few hiccups on the way (not strakers fault) but they sorted things out quickly for us and we are now in our lovely new hone expecting our first baby in 5 weeks time! Special mention to George, who handled all our sales progression from the Strakers team, she was fantastic and really went above and beyond for us. Thank you!

Strakers were fab at selling our property, but offered little or no support or communication to us but only to our buyers during the whole process. Not quite what you expect from an estate agents acting on your behalf. Would not use again.Note: on one of the rare occasions Strakers engaged, we were also asked by Strakers to contribute towards the rent of someone who was in our chain.
We were surprised and disappointed to read this review as we had lots of communication with the vendor, which we kept record of in our notes. As part of our role, we also liaised with the buyers in order to achieve the sale. We were pleased to achieve a full asking price sale relatively quickly for the vendor.

From start to finish Strakers' Devizes office handled the promotion and viewings of my property quite professionally. There was the odd post-viewing feedback that I had to ask about, but other than that no complaints. I even managed to speak to Guy Straker on a couple of occasions early in the UK pandemic experience. What you have to remember, is that prospective buyers can't be forced to come and view your property but you can make it more saleable.

At every stage of the process of selling and buying, all the Strakers team were helpful and extremely efficient in doing their jobs.Mark put us at ease when placing our property on the market, covering everything we needed to know. Using his wealth of experience he helped us to place our house on the market in a way that reflected how we felt about our property.Marianne kept us well informed about the property we were interested in buying and was very accommodating with viewings etc.Sharon oversaw our sell and buy. At all times she was easy to contact and kept us up to date throughout the elongated process due to covid-19. Any questions/issues were dealt with quickly and thoroughly. This made our sell and purchase run as smooth as possible and gave us tremendous confidence considering we hadn't moved house for 30 years!I would certainly recommend Strakers to anyone considering buying or selling a property. The team's efficiency, honesty and friendly approach is much appreciated.

I was very happy with the service I received from Strakers. Everybody was friendly and helpful at every step of the way, and any queries I had were answered quickly and thoroughly - which was reassuring as this is my first time buying a property, and we're in the middle of a pandemic! On the day of completion they kept me fully informed of what was happening and when, and made sure everything went smoothly.

Strakers Lettings have always managed the property very efficiently and communicated regularly and effectively. Having to go to court to gain vacant possession they helped us every step of the way in a difficult situation. Helen ensured that all the rental money was paid for every day of occupancy. Bridget was very professional and good humoured throughout and at the end of the tenancy organising the work to have the property ready for sale, liaising daily. They have gone far beyond what was expected and I have no hesitation in recommending the Devizes team, based on my experience.

Graham and the team approached our sale with both enthusiasm but more importantly realism. They did not promise unrealistic figures only to drop the price when the house did not sell as some estate agents do. They valued the house and sold it for the full asking price. The staff accompanied every viewing and always reported back to us both good and not so good comments. So strakers have been managing the property I rent for the past 2/3 years now, and I cannot thank them enough. Before I was under management with a different company and well, nothing much happened, no communication and nothing got done. Then I met Bridget, we had our differnaces to start with but it was all new to me then but now, she is ever so helpful. I see her every 6 months and have a catch up on the property and if there is any issues she always goes out of her way to get them sorted. Bridget is personally a really lovely lady that I can’t thank enough for everything she has helped me with throughout being under their management. If Bridget is away, I always get through to someobody else who can help me with my needs. So Thankyou starkers for what you do.

I have been dealing with Strakers Lettings for quite a few years now. I am not able to visit the property but Strakers have managed the property very well. Communication is great, I call the office a person picks up the phone and my query gets dealt with straight away. Emails are dealt with very promptly. Maintenance is always an issue getting small jobs done, we all know getting a plumber to fix a dodgy tap, that is not high on the contractors list but with patience there is always success.

They were always welcoming and friendly and took time and trouble to get to know us, using their local knowledge and experience to find a property to suit our requirements. We are flat owners in Royal Wooton Bassett, but we reside in the U. S. You can appreciate our concern in choosing the appropriate management company for our property. We are so happy we decided on Strakers !Our property has not been without problems, but we could always count on our “ family” at Strakers. Bridget Wayman was our first contact and she was wonderful acting as our on site voice. She met with many frustrations with our builder but she was never daunted ! We were concerned when she was transferred to another location, but no need for concern, Claire Campbell has efficiently and pleasantly picked up the gauntlet! Even when I call the office with any concerns, the staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I honestly can’t praise Strakers enough. At a time when the housing market had slowed considerably and we were selling a house that was at the top end of the price range for the area they kept persevering and kept communicating regularly until a sale was secured! Nick Caitlin was particularly helpful and ensured we were happy with every aspect of the sale including retaking pictures where appropriate and helping decide when we needed to slightly reduce the price. Well done Strakers!

Had a great experience with the North Swindon & dealt mainly with Nick & sometimes Paul. Both were so friendly & not at all pushy & did everything they could to help our sale. Pictures taken were very professional & it was obvious Nick has a wealth of experience & knew we were in safe hands. If we need an estate agent in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to use Strakers again, very impressed & would highly recommend them (& I have used a lot in Swindon already & they are by far the best!)

Strakers were really helpful and Tori was very responsive both prior and after the auction. They drop a star due to the fact that the Online Auction Crashed just as the bidding was concluding! Put us in a bit of a tail spin to say the least. The system was quickly back on line and the closing time for bidding was extended by 30mins to compensate for the crashing computer system.

Yet another brilliant service. I am now in the house I have waited for throughout the covid-19 crisis all thanks to Karen Elsons hard work she kept me informed and updated at all times and ensured that my tenancy was secured massive thanks. A very professional and excellent service. Thanks also to Michelle King and the rest of the team. I would highly recommend this Estate Agent for property rental or purchase.
