Fantastic House! Fantastic Team!

We cannot say enough kind words about the Lovell Team at William's Park in Wymondham. Right from the off we dealt with Matt who remained a constant friend throughout the challenges that laid ahead! His communication was excellent and professional at all stages. The whole experience of buying from Lovell has been first class. The house build and quality is phenomenal and the attention from each Lovell colleague has been superb! The whole development is well designed, with additional qualities and finishes we didn't expect. Highly recommended!

Search party needed to find customer care at Lovell

We moved into our house in 2021, and by going around the house during our own snagging process found over 200 issues. I must stress that we are not builders nor in the trades sector. These were raised with Lovell and over the last 2 years most have been fixed very gradually at their own slow pace after repeated requests. I have waited in so many times for Trades that did not arrive. A leak from the family bathroom toilet area was reported months ago, and nothing done to sort it. Several plumbers/managers have come and reported back to Lovell that the area needs stripped back to reveal the source of the leak. The bathroom floor tiles are now lifting and dangerous. The skirting is coming away from the wall and black mould is now evident in that bathroom. I hate to think what damage is being done to the house. Customer care no longer communicate as it appears they have nothing left to promise. The whole situation has been totally wearing, and it appears that Lovell hopes that people will give up and just accept their shoddy workmanship. This is only the tip of the iceberg of my negative experience with lovell. I could easily write a long tedious novell on the whole disappointing experience. One star out of five is generous.

Job done! No more snags...

We had some snagging issues with our Lovell home on the Crown Meadow estate in Norwich, but we’ve systematically chipped away at them, liaising with Tanya in Customer Services.They have been very good setting things right. Today Rob and Jordan have done an amazing job finishing the last bits. They were thorough - no short cuts. Both were courteous and left everything really tidy. We love our new home!

Useless

I’ve only given one star because I have too. I do love my home, but the company are absolutely useless at costumer care, the quality of our home when moving in was shocking and took well over a year and constant back and forth to get sorted, nearly 2 years in now and a problem that we thought was a drainage issue that Lovell still haven’t rectified turned out to be an ongoing water leak due to poor fitting that has only just been fixed.We’ve used the emergency contact line to report our boiler not working. So no heating or hot water and been told this is not an emergency and that they ‘only deal with refurbs out of hours’? There is literally no care after you’ve brought the house.

What an amazing housing development (…

What an amazing housing development ( Wild Walk ). We were totally blown away with the quality and look of the houses. And plenty of space between them and ample parking which is so refreshing from other new build sites we have seen. And Dave was fantastic with us showing us around the site physically on foot not from a plan. Behaviour

I’m unfortunate to live opposite one of their building sites. General construction noise is one thing but loud banging from 6:45 am and loud music that can be heard in our home with the windows closed above the sound of the machinery is just anti social behaviour. I’ve tried to call & emailed the West Midlands office, hopefully someone there can help with this truly anti social behaviour.

Great experience from seeing the plot until moving in.

We had our heart set on the plot we eventually were able to secure from the moment we discovered Lovells development on Houlton in Rugby. AVOID - Lovell are untrustworthy - selling unsold houses to social housing company!

Lovell are awful and untrustworthy! We moved into a filthy house inside and out in June 2023 (hadn’t been cleaned properly), skirting boards have lumps of plaster which had just been painted over, wonky walls, garden a mess, kitchen work surface had to be ripped out and replaced, utility was put in wonky, en suite tiling wonky, the list goes on. BE AWARE - On top of all this, the company are now selling the remaining 12 unsold plots to affordable housing, having only told the people who live next to such plots. Very underhand and, whilst AH has a place on any estate, this will devalue our properties and this wasn’t what was in the original plans. PLEASE AVOID! Their one and only saving Grace is Alex in Customer Services - he’s an absolute star.

Phenomenal Customer Service and Great Experience

I have been looking for a new home for years and started looking at Williams Park- Lovell Homes a while ago. I quickly realised the spec and quality was above par to other new build homes available at that time. The advice, support, and customer service I received from the sales team (Matt and Jo) was integral to the process and has ultimately led me to occupying a great plot that’s perfect for me. They pointed out things I wouldn’t have thought of and supported me along the way. The care and consideration (and patience) they both had made the whole process very smooth. Jo welcomed me from the beginning and helped guide me through the choosing process, and Matt was very communicative keeping me up to date on the progress of the property, allowing me multiple visits to measure up (nothing was too much) and continues to check-in on the progress of the move and the quality of the house. They seem to always be working and on hand! I have found Sharon from the aftercare team very helpful and proactive- which is much appreciated. Overall I would highly recommend Lovell as a new homes builder, but more importantly I’d recommended them for their great customer service. Buying a home is no small purchase, and it’s nice to feel like you have people like Matt and Jo who care about what they are doing! Thanks to all the team!

The purchase process was explained very clearly by Jo who led on the administration. Matt was our lead for viewings of our new home. Many thanks to Jordan (Lovell’s decorator) for his professional service on today at Williams Park. He has done a superb and excellent job and also explained how to do a proper job. He is also a nice and helpful guy, which he has spotted additional snagging lists and no doubt at all to fix it immediately. Lovell shall keep more good staffs like Jordan.
