We had a lovely experience with James( Brecks Lane Park, Rotherham).He has this as we would call it, bubbly personality, always with a smile on his face, yet so confident in everything that he is ‘selling’.He would answer any question,twice if there is a need, and still being armed with the same patience for the whole time while you are there.He is so optimistic that no matter the problem, we can find a solution. We met Bella at Summerville Village last week. We turned up with no appointment but she went above and beyond to talk through what was available and even managed to get us back for an appointment to show us inside a home the same day. She explained everything so clearly and reassured us when we were having a bad day after making a life changing decision. She found us the perfect plot for us and our needs. The support since has been great too, she has kept us updated every step of the way so far. Thank you!

We’ve been waiting for 19 months so far now for our property in Leeds after deposit but still not yet ready and was informed by email today that it has to be delayed again until next year by using different excuses so far since last year. We can’t believe that a big developer as Avent Homes is such unreliable and providing such a poor service to their customers. Very disappointing!!!Follow up: They contacted us to explain again on the next day after our comment on Trustpilot but still haven’t received any confirmation of completion. We were told now that they will see if they can solve the problem as soon as possible but not promising and requested if we can delete the comment here.

We have just completed with Avant and are in our new home which we completely love. Throughout the process Jane, our sales advisor, has been fantastic. She’s kept us updated with weekly build progress reports that we always looked forward to and made sure we had always the information we needed, helping us through the buying process. She has been there for us every step of the way to answer our questions (as confused first time buyers), even going the extra mile to help us decide if we could fit the sofa we wanted in our new home!We had our demonstration with Andy, the site manager, who was very knowledgeable and showed our house was built to an incredible standard. There have been some small snags we noted as we moved in (as is the case with every new build) but Andy and the site team sort them straight away and are making us feel very looked after and in safe hands.The whole team are lovely to chat to and are really making us feel welcome in our new home. We’re really pleased we went with Avant.

House I purchase back in 2018 was cold and after 5 years of fighting them with evidence of thermal image report from accreditation technical Manager both avant homes and NHBC have refused to acknowledge the serious structure of the property. How pathetic of them having their own technical person with a credit card to show the cause of the cold draft coming through windows where I was fully informed there airflow issues where they haven’t met the building regulations, I am now going down the legal route after real evidence clearly shows the seriousness or the lack of work done I have avant homes laughed at my face via email and told me any legal representative to send correspondence through to HO. The directors Jeff Fairburn, Mark Mitchell have ignored my plea. . Total greed!!!!

If I could have put 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrific company to buy from and deal with. They don't communicate at all. They finished the build 7 months late but only answered the phone to us the day before we were meant to move in 4 times to tell us "it won't be tomorrow" 2 years later and we're STILL trying to get snags sorted that were reported the week we moved in. We have had water issues comi g out of our ears! The only thing that held water when we first moved in was the dog bowl! Mould all over, loft.. still drenched all the time! Wooden floors we had put down... Destroyed at our cost! They wipe their hands as soon as money is exchanged. Sewage backing up in toilets. Extractor vents duck taped on .. yes tape.. this is just a few issues.. the list is endless. Gardens are just as bad. Like a swamp is the easiest description... You also have to fight to get your deposit back! My only advise is don't do it. It ruined our whole experience of buying our first house together.... What was meant to be a lovely new home for a young couple... Feels like a prison.. run for the hills and get your deposit back whilst you still can!

Been in property since August snag list still growing. They have gone back on work the project manager offered to do. The ex construction manager visited the house and everything he agreed that has not been completed has been withdrawn. The experience has been horrendous even had raw sewerage poring out off drain onto our front garden and path just ignored until we contact environmental health.

Horrendous! They try and wriggle out of doing absolutely anything! Rusty radiator all across the bottom, they can’t conclude that we haven’t damaged it, are they for real? How can we damage an already hung radiator that we haven’t touched! Absolute jokers, useless customer service! Poor quality, issue after issue and they are not interested in helping! The appointments that are made to rectify are hardly ever adhered to, they don’t turn or are late if they do turn up! The directors couldn’t care less either and just fob you off! Someone should be make them accountable for the horrendous quality and appalling customer service!

My experience with Avant homes has been excellent. From first purchasing my plot to moving in. The after sales has also been very good. The site managers Dean and Luke are always helpful and professional. Jordan on site is also very good and helpful. Georgia the sales assistant is on the ball with everything and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would definitely recommend Avant Homes!

Appalling customer service. They agree to repair issues and then drop off the face of the earth. The general managers leave the company after a matter of weeks and you have to start the cycle all over again. If they had decent staff I'd give a good rating as the houses are lovely just a shame staff don't care about there job or customer satisfaction.

Still no improvement from Avant Elliot Place - over a year of living here and still a joke, outer building issues, not their problem, poor panelling fitting causing drafts and freezing homes not their issue… street lighting WOW we got it other month, road and pavements… only just starting to construct the pavements, waiting 8 months for new flooring to be sealed in both toilet/ bathroom due to a leek, which has now occurred again, sote manager informed, housing informed NO ONE CARES now resulting in black mold upstairs and now coming through onto the kitchen roof… guess who's going tl be paying for that. I am not happy.Absolutely disgusting, appalling company/ housing development full of cowboys and no to little brain cells who dont give two hoots.Worst place. Its a hell hole and i cant wait to be able to pit a sale sign up already.Useless people allowing people to live in poor unhealthy conditions!
