We have now had experience of working with J Lord and Co both as a buyer and as a seller so can say with authority that they are brilliantly professional from both sides of the transaction. It’s refreshing to deal with a company who deliver on all their promises and clearly care about their role and their clients. Jacqui, Julie and the rest of the team are always available, and it’s the same team that you view with and build the initial relationship with who are there to deal with any questions and keep you informed throughout the whole process, to make the experience as easy and as stressless as it can be. Even during the challenging climate we have bought and sold in. Our purchase was completed off market due to the vendors preference which suited us. We never felt the sale or purchase were utilised to promote the company which is refreshing and demonstrates their integrity, leaving us feeling we were priority. We viewed a number of properties through J Lord & Co and always found them to be highly professional in their representation and behaviour. Having viewed with a range of estate agents it's clear that they stand head and shoulders above the local competition and we would not consider using any other company.

Absolutely tip top professional service that, once experienced, will make you realise the weakness in the online model. With a company like J Lord's you have an actual base to contact, staff who genuinely are interested in giving you the service you deserve and seem determined to be the best. They succeed. We purchased a house from J Lord and Co and felt nothing but utter satisfaction with the service, attention, updates and utter professionalism we experienced. They seamlessly worked with our chosen teams of surveyors, solicitors etc and would regularly call us with updates on the vendor's progress. I know this seems strong but I would seriously not hesitate to return to J Lord and Co should we need to sell our beautiful house we just bought. Jacqui, Julie and everyone else. When it came to placing our house in Hartford on the market back in June, there was never any question who we were going to instruct and our faith was fully justified. It wasn’t the easiest time to be buying and selling, at the height of the Covid crisis, but Jacqui and her excellent team were the consummate professionals from start to finish. From initial discussions with Jacqui over marketing, to preparing the particulars for which Rebecca provided some stunning photographs which showed our property in its best possible light, to arranging the first viewing a few days later it was all undertaken with seamless efficiency. We were pleased to receive seven viewings on the first day. all accompanied by Jacqui’s efficient viewing staff and received two offers that first day. It came down to a case of best offers and, as a result, we agreed a sale and were more than delighted with the price achieved which exceeded our expectations. We achieved the best price as a seller but the attention to detail and complete communication puts them leagues ahead of the competition. Outstanding. A tumultuous year of failed sales, not through my Estate Agents but Liz Truss and her mini budget and the rising rate of mortgages been a shock to many. I cannot praise this Company enough. The whole team are aware of your sales progress including fab girls in the office. However I have to praise Julie the wonder woman. Every offer she forensically went through the chain, estate agents and solicitors. I have moved quite a few times and this has been the most 'hands on team'. People often query Estate Agents charges, however I think Lords every penny. Yes it was traumatic and stressful but would have been so much more horrendous if I had not chosen Lords. One of my few brilliant decisions!! Especially as we in a strange climate regards house sales, if you want incredible attention to detail, professionalism, knowledge of the market, friendliness and scccess then go to this supercharged team. After viewing a number of properties with Julie, I finally got the timing right with my own sale to be able to make an offer on a property and the service I received throughout the buying process was second to none. Any hiccups in the chain were dealt with extremely pro actively by Julie (and Mollie) and they kept in touch with me every step of the way. I can recommend J Lord and Co to anyone buying or selling - they take as much of the stress out of the process from the buyer/seller as they can which is definitely a great reason to go with a local agent. I'll use them in the future should I need to!
