Fantastic and dedicated service from Karen and her colleagues during a long and difficult process. They stuck with it all the way and, through sheer hard work and refusal to give up, got our sale completed at a premium price. They kept us informed at all times and negotiated skillfully on our behalf. STAGNANT Paid for full management and they: - allowed tenant to redecorate entire property, rewire most light fittings, damage bathroom cabinet and change kitchen sink without permission. I was not informed and discovered when accessing property day before new tenants moved in. - lied about condition of property on inspections - took over 2.5 months to get oven fixed which I ended up sorting myself, despite full management. Tardy responding to emails. Got Property Redress Scheme involved.

We loved the flat we found in Dartmouth through Stags, but their service was appalling. Lynette responded to about 30% of all emails we ever sent to her, and usually after chasing 3-4 times. Some issues we had never got attended to. We had an issue with water bills (£750 vs our usual £150 for 6 months in a similar accommodation), the water company asked for Landlord's permission to do an investigation and Lynette never responded to our requests. Our deposit was returned 1 month after we left (while standard guideline by TDS is 10 days), also after a lot of chasing. On the bright side, she did respond faster on 2 occasional when we had 'real' emergency happen in the flat, eg a boiler breakdown mid-winter. But overall we felt quite helpless in trying to get her attention. Other colleagues at Stags were a lot more helpful and quick to respond, for example, Jane. Very efficient and helpful lady, look out for her help if you are using Stags in Dartmouth. Enjoy the beautiful town!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality

We have just sold a bungalow through Stags of Dartmouth and they have been extremely professional throughout. It has taken quite a while to get to completion but Stags have been exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and it has been a pleasure to sell through them. Their level of communication was very high, always returning my phone calls and emails which I think is so important. I have had stags as an agency before and they have done two visits within two months!! The first visit was absolutely fine and nothing wrong and now they are demanding a second! This is NOT in the tenancy agreement at all and I feel like they are trying to get me to move out before my contract has ended! The visits every month is NOT what I signed up for! Absolutely ridiculous people at stags in Dartmouth and I am absolutely fuming that they are trying to push us out!!

AVOID. I have just had the worst experience with Stags and their field agents. The arrogant and aggressive nature of the person we were dealing with made us leave the viewing immediately. The agent spoke to us disrespectfully and with an attitude that bordered on villainous. If you choose to deal with them on a sale or purchase be ready for frustration beyond even the most vivid immagination.
