GoogleIf you're looking for the best estate agent in the Paignton, Brixham area then I recommend you contact Eric Lloyd churston or Brixham,we sold through the churston office and from valuation to sale they we're incredible,very professional,Clare and Rachel,were always in contact ,we had interest in our property almost immediately from buyers in a position,rather than time wasters,so forget the other agents go for the best , Eric Lloyd you will not be disappointed.

Rachel listened to our story, learnt about the property and what it meant to us and was sensitive to our situation throughout the sale. GoogleEric Llloyd marketed my parents property for me during a very distressing time due to the Covid pandemic and also managing probate. There were many times when i thought how fortunate i was to have chosen this Estate Agent. Not only are they competent and very good at what they do, I also felt they were always there to support me and nothing was too much to ask. What a wonderful caring and professional team they are, from the sales staff at the Churston Branch to the sales progression team at Brixham, which i must say is a real asset to this Estate Agent as they are always on hand to help. I couldn't recommend them enough as it's not just about the sales it's also about the people! A heartfelt thank you to the team at Eric Lloyd.

GoogleReally poor service by Eric Lloyds Churston Branch. I saw a listing and called the office to book a viewing. Straight away was told there were so many people interested and I would have to wait a week in a rather snooty way. Made an offer on the property to be told had to wait another week or two which is fine however not once did they touch base in the mean time (despite a very good cash offer). They only got in touch once they were ready to ask us if that was our final offer. We basically asked for them to ask the vendor what price they wanted as we were keen to buy it and more or less pay what was required but again received an email saying just offer your best? We felt really uncomfortable dealing with such an unprofessional company that we decided not to pursue this further. At no point did I feel my interests as a potential buyer were of any importance to them. Can’t help but feel a deal was already done behind the scenes and I was wasting my time. 3 days after closing date I’ve still heard nothing back from them I had to read it online that it’s under offer. I have bought many properties but their service is by far the worst I have experienced.
Dear Mrs Russell, I’m sorry to hear that you feel you have received a poor service. I have spoken with those involved and will expand upon the situation. You first emailed Eric Lloyd & Co on 4/2/22. The email and offer were acknowledged within 3 working hours, and you even said “Many thanks for the prompt reply”. Within the email we explained the owner wanted all viewings to go ahead. These viewings were spread over a week or so, and therefore no decision would be made on any offer until then. You then replied on the 7th with some background information and said “Thank you once again and look forward to hearing back from you”. The information was relayed onto the owner. When all viewings had been undertaken (14th Feb) we asked all interested parties (9 in total, the majority of which were cash buyers), to bring forward their full and final offer by Wednesday. When there are multiple parties involved the fairest way forward is to ask for full and final offers. We cannot favour any individual, we simply ask for their best offer and present this along with their position to the owner for them to make a decision. You replied on the same day “We remain fully committed to our cash offer of £**” At this point you did not increase, and your offer was below the stated guide price. You stated “There is some room to go higher on the price and remain a cash buyer but I guess that will be up to the owner then to tell us where we need to be?” We then emailed once again saying “The owner has asked for best and final offers which means please offer the final and best amount you can go to, the guide price is £950,000”. I must point out you were the only party we asked twice, all others increased, and many decided to offer well in excess of the guide price. From this we received no reply, so your offer was put forward at your original (below guide price) figure. We are yet to have a response from our second email, therefore assumed you had no interest in increasing your offer. The owner then decided against your offer therefore the property was agreed and marked sold subject to contract. If you feel you haven’t been given a fair opportunity to make an increased offer you are welcome to bring another offer forward. Any offer made before exchange of contracts will be passed onto the owner for their decision. I am more than happy to arrange a call with you or to discuss this further via email.
