The agents were polite enough initially. I had signed the lease and agreed with the landlords handyman to meet at a future date for some work to be done on the property. He wasn’t happy about this so he went in the next day without agreement.My partner went to the house at a later date to find it had been flooded. The handyman left the shower running, spraying out of the bath. I contacted Wards, the letting agent. They stalled for a week then finally said; “it’s your problem, you signed the lease.”Very Disappointing. Would never go to Wards again. The property also had fleas.

GoogleIf you are a tenant and in a position to rent from Wards please stay away as they lead to day light robbery! Wards will only look after the landlords, will get the rent on time and on a regular basis however will leave you to live with major dump issue without considering you or your childrens heath issues for 8 months on the concrete floor. After a while, when you are patiently waiting for a repair they will serve you a notice to leave during pandemic and they will try to steal £800 from your deposit with the landlord for damages(thanks god, which was recorded with the photos when we first moved in) that were already there. It has not finished yet, as the house gets its water from the soil and the dump issue is a major and expensive work( can be proven by insurance company’s expert report) and they let the landlord cover the floor with another flooring and they will put that house on market pretending that house is beautiful and is nothing wrong. As soon as they publish the house on their website I won’t hesitate to give a full address for this house as whoever buys this house will have to face major work!

GoogleI only have good things to say about Wards, everyone in the team has been extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us if they tried! Specifically Imarna and Laura, both have gone above and beyond, nothing was too ever too much trouble they managed to secure an offer on our house for the asking price before it even hit the market, followed by a further 23 viewings resulting in an offer for a significant amount over our asking price! And if that wasn't enough, Imarna has also been extremely helpful in our property search, securing us a priority viewing to a property just coming on the market which sounds like it checks every box. All staff members we dealt with were professional, informative and made the buying process incredibly easy for us. They always had time to answer our questions and with a quick turnaround so put our minds at ease. I would like to particularly mention Imarna Fearns who was my first contact with Wards when making a viewing… and fittingly was also the last person we saw and collected our new house keys from. She showed fantastic customer service from start to finish and is a credit to the Wards company. We used WARDS to fully manage our rental property. The elderly tennant had never caused any problems. However, between Aug 20 and Apr 21. Her breached tennancy by chain smoking in the place and letting his birds fly around the property. Jan 21 no inspection done due to covid. The property was a complete mess & reeked of tobacco & other 'things'. Helen ROSE at WARDS was exceptionally helpful in getting us through the process of claiming against the deposit & managed to secure it for us in full. There are other service issues I need to take up with WARDS, but this element of the problem was handled very professionally by someone who is new to the role.

I haven't written a Trustpilot review before but felt compelled to this time. I bought a period industrial property converted by Quinns, which is absolutely stunning. The design and finish are of a very rare standard. But best of all was the agent, Jessica Williams. She was full of energy and enthusiasm, a pleasure to deal with, 100% efficient, and always completely straight. I have bought and sold a lot of property, and it's usually a process full of stress; but this one was so smooth and painless.

I asked 2 estate agents to come and value our house. The first estate agent valued the property at £180,000 to £190,000. The second estate agent was Wards from the Ashford, Kent Office. They were shocked that the previous estimate was so low and suggested we would easily get £220,000 and probably more. For this reason we decided to go with Wards. The property went live on Rightmove last Wednesday evening. Viewing on Saturday had 7 different people. Today Monday another viewing. We have had four offers ranging from £215,000 to £230,000. We have decided to take an offer of £225,000. This is amazing. I cannot believe that the property has sold so quickly and for so much more money than the first estate agent estimated we would get.The service has been outstanding and I would have no hesitation in recommending Wards.

Accepted our offer on a property in Hythe, confirmed by email the vendors had accepted and it had been taken off the market.Then accepted another offer from buyers 2 days later. Now it appears that you can buy a propertythat's not even being marketed!I really think Wards need to refer to their conformation email that the offer had been accepted by them and the vendors and the property had been removed from the market. Also as far as the other buyers chain being shorter, well, how do you get shorter than no chain? Just be honest please!
