I would highly recommend using Slater Hogg in Cumbernauld for buying and selling your property. We used them to sell our property which was a stress free process, starting at the valuation stage, right through to the photos and then onto the viewings. Their knowledge of the local market was very accurate and impressive. Concidently, after a few months of selling, our idea family home came up for sale with Slater Hogg and we where fortunate enough to experience their professionalism and advice, not only as a buyer but also a seller. My wife and I are relocating to Glasgow as I am starting a new job there in January. The most stressful thing was that we struggled to find a house until just a few weeks ago but we need to move in mid-December. Therefore, there was a bit of a mad rush and panic to try and get our mortgage application sent off and approved as fast as possible to allow our solicitors enough time to get the remaining paperwork in place. But after chatting through our options with Jenny we realised we had no need to worry and that we were in very safe hands. I'm still convinced it was magic, but Jenny managed to get our application submitted and approved within two weeks. She was fantastic throughout the whole process and was always available to answer my questions and to provide us with updates. My wife and I could not be happier with the service we received and cannot recommend Slater Hogg Cumbernauld enough.

My partner and I were delighted with the 1st class service provided by Jenny Thompson at Slater Hogg Cumbernauld We didn’t really have a clue where to start but after our first meeting with Jenny she set our minds at ease and gave us a much better understanding of our options. Unfortunately for us we had a bid accepted for a property the week lenders starting removing mortgages and raising interest rates which as you can imagine was really stressful! Jenny however got us straight in, set our minds at ease and secured us a great mortgage that we’re delighted with providing us with regular updates throughout the process. Had a great experience working with our mortgage consultant Jenny Thomson from Slater, Hogg & Howison (Cumbernauld branch). We are both first time buyers and had contacted several mortgage advisor companies including First Mortgages and Mortgage Advice Bureau prior to choosing SH&H. Both other companies left us feeling like there was much to be desired from their services, which made us both very apprehensive about getting onto the property ladder. All these apprehensions have completely gone since working with Jenny. She has been nothing short of professional and supportive whilst guiding us through the process, and we are very grateful for all her help so far. Trying to force an appointment to value our house and force us to speak to a mortgage advisor before allowing us onto the 'list' for a new build is poor practice in my opinion. I'd made clear we would be using our preferred estate agent to sell our house and would be porting our existing mortgage, but was advised their valuation and mortgage advice was compulsory. Total waste of my time and theirs. I'd previously found other another slater hogg branch really helpful when selling a previous property, but this branch seem particularly difficult.
