GoogleI would highly recommend Seddons. Our house sale was more complicated than normal, as I was using a power of attorney to sell my Aunt’s house and I live 200 miles away. All the personnel we dealt with were highly professional, from the initial valuation meeting to keeping me updated as viewings were arranged, feedback received, and the offer negotiated. The team were also very helpful in arranging the EPC survey and gas and electric certification using local contacts, rather than me having to arrange this from a distance. Liaison with my solicitors and contact with me throughout the period to exchange of contracts and completion was regular and efficient. An excellent job!

GoogleI couldn't of asked for a better team than Seddons to sell my house, when things got difficult and it looked as if it would all fall through, they were calm and methodical finding a buyer within weeks further down the chain to prop the sale up. Communication was excellent, they were always on hand to answer any queries I had and kept the sale moving. Having sold quite a few properties in my time I would highly recommend them. FacebookFirstly by responding to emails and not after a bad review!"secondly by not taking all of our deposit of a rented property (1,800) very bizare that the agents found problems with the property that came the exact figure (minus 16.00) so if your renting a property expectcto loose your deposit, great for the agent, they also used their cleaning co to go over the property again at a cost of over 200.00 , we had carpets proff cleaned and then they wanted a 1,000 for them! And they were taken out as my friend reccomended new tenant. As a business owner I think the whole thing stinks along with all the people who saw the property before we left..we were only there 6 months!! 10 years of renting and not one bad refrence ..including the one we got from the landlord at this property.....before leaving ..

Dear Dee, Seddons Lettings register all tenants deposits with the DPS (Deposit Protection Service) and are fully protected by them until the tenancy comes to an end. The deposit money cannot be taken by either party without the other party’s authorisation.
As explained in my last email to you, the DPS offer a free adjudication service which you have agreed to use.
Seddons were instructed by the landlord to carry out the checkout of the property you were renting. As you are aware, Seddons did not manage the property during your occupation and had not seen the property since you moved in, over 12 months prior. After carrying out the checkout inspection we reported our findings to the landlord who then requested the deductions, a copy of which was sent to yourself along with all the photos taken at the time.
After it was pointed out to you that further cleaning was required, you asked for us to arrange the cleaning on your behalf with one of our contractors.
The landlord confirmed that they had issued you with a good reference but this was before they saw the property empty and the damage to the carpets. If you would like to discuss the matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind Regards, Emerald Seddon. Seddon's Partner.
