We dealt with Sara throughout the purchase process and although they say moving is one of the most stressful things to do, Sara was brilliant from start to finish. She was very supportive in dealing with questions and issues, when they cropped up, and was very responsive to emails and calls. From our experience we would highly recommend using Walter & Mair.

Highly professional with agents making you feel you are getting indivudual service. Sara Evans managed, along with the team, a problematic sale with great efficiency and superb communication. The property was left to two daughters who both live outside the UK by their mother who lived within the UK and was always considered 'home' by her daughters. Unique house purpose built for the owner's needs with great charm. Difficulty with removing trespasssers handled professionally and with due civility by Sara who headed the team, whose communications were excellent. Understood the situation with 2 non UK residents but both citizens, one in Australia so even a full time zone away! Always made to feel we were in partnership rather than just clients. Regular reports as to viewings, feedback, important statistcs as to comparisons and work put in and initiated by W&M and all infomation needed. Would highly recommend this company, which had been recommended to us by neighbours in the UK and others. They did not let us down. We bought a house through this agency last year. It all went fine until Toby Bassett, the director of the company, decided he would "take the lead on this one". Toby was consistently a misery to deal with. He was aggressive in his emails, had an arrogant and belligerent attitude, and was generally unpleasant. Toby may be good at strong arming and harrassing buyers into paying a bit extra for properties, as he attempted to do with us, but he burns bridges in the process. We will be certain to avoid this company at all costs when we come to sell.

I had the pleasure of viewing a property with Bethany, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The pictures of the house were an accurate reflection of the property, and I was pleasantly surprised that the house was in even better condition than I had anticipated. I really appreciate the honesty in the photos used for the advertisement. Bethany was exceptionally well-prepared and took the time to ask thoughtful questions to understand my needs. At the end of the viewing, she provided a professional brochure, which was very helpful in summarising key details. Overall, I found her service professional, attentive, and highly efficient.
