TrustpilotAppalling Aftersales service from Dandara - Saxon Park!
Its been absolutely a nightmare to get Dandara to fix water leakage issue reported for nearly 4 months (since May 17th, 2023) in my new build after completing their HBF survey. I have leakages in both of my bathrooms, snags left out by site managers and these seem to be too much for Dandara to fix.Dandara kept on sending incompetent cowboy builder to fix. After raising the leakage issues and other snags with Customer Care in May 2023, they sent one work person to fix the leakage, fix the large gap in the floor tile around the toilet seat, do repainting of stains, mastic sealing , sand down/polish newel post caps and basically everything in the complain list. This DIY (sorry, Dandara professional) just masked the large gap defect with grout instead of re-cutting another correct sized tile to replace the old one, missed repainting the stains caused by leakages, did a poor job in sanding/polishing the newel post caps, even added more dirty smears to walls around the newel post caps, rinsed his dirty paint brush in my family water sink and once again, used quick grout to cover a serious water leakage damage in my en suite shower. I would like to post pictures here but there are no option.After I complained to Customer Service and the latest response is as bad as it gets. My en suite shower is now completely ripped apart , unused and abandoned for over 3 weeks. Its now nealy 4 months of my reporting this issue. And yet, No planned action from Dandara team, Dandara has a slow appointment & miscommunications with contractors, Dandara could not even provide a date or known timeframe to fix and customer service can't be ask to update me on any plan (because they DO NOT have a plan) . I feel like a complete idiot to found myself in this appalling post-sales support from Dandara . Dandara DO NOT understand 2-years post-sales support warranty or they are very incompetent to understand what a buyer expect after coughing out over half a £-million on a property at Saxon Park, Biddenham, Bedford Dandara has made my fear for new builds worst! I am now wondering the crime I committed to deserve such an appalling aftersales service from Dandara!

Appalling rude and dishonest company. They try and lock you into a 28 day completion, which is something kept secrete until the last minute after you part with your money, but then the company refuses to reply to any questions or querries - forcing you to default or accept their highly non standard- way of transacting the purchase. When you finally get the transaction documents it is too late to discuss anything. I was ordered to exchange two days after I recieved the contract. You end up having to trust anything they say, with no committements from the company and no due diligence allowed. It is a real take it or leave it attitude. The Yapton site has some strange drainage schemes to be onward managed via a private company that is not funded properly (and likely to be far more expensive than estimates) and some potentially devaluing conditions covering the land used. Yet the company refused to allow me to ask for clarifications. There are many arbitary rules attached to the property deeds which will make it hard to ever sell the house . No help at all from the appointed solicitors nor the sales staff, who knew nothing substantial about anything asked. You would not accept this treatment in any private house purchase, Dandara get away with it by pressuring you against random deadlines - that only serve to bully you as no one else is buying these houses many of which stand empty. Poor quality housing, poor finish, mean with materials, no information or committement on contents , doubtful future value in a massively overdeveloped area with infrastructure bursting at the seams. These are not trustworthy developers and quite rightly fail to make the top-ten list for the UK.
We are very sorry to hear that you have still not been happy with the sales process on this property, despite the explanations provided by our sales consultants and Managing Director. Our sales advisers work hard to explain the house-buying process to all prospective buyers and endeavour to make it as smooth as possible. They follow our Customer Charter, which outlines all our commitments to homebuyers as well as the procedures at each stage of the process. Do get in touch and let us know if there is anything further we can do.

The whole team have been amazing, from when we first enquired with Andrew last year to moving in June 2023. Andrew couldn't have been more helpful and always went out of his way to ensure we were happy. Max has also been great, answering our questions and making sure jobs have been done when asked. All the builders have been polite and helpful and keeping disruption to a minimum.I would definitely recommend buying a house from Dandara.

Absolute nightmare of a company. We are stalled in the buying process because their sales team have lied and misrepresented the detail of the covenants and restrictions they place on households. The home is at the top price, no one is buying them around here, and yet I am a cash buyer who they seem to want to annoy. Appeals for sanity full on deaf ears. Prejudice and hateful staff who dislike my family because we are mixed race and with a disabled boy. Dishonest in the extreme. AVOID at all costs. Nothing they tell you at the start can be relied upon. Dismissive and unhelpful.

We have had an excellent experience with Dandara from the first email enquiry right through to completion and settling in. Bradley and Jonathan in the sales team were very responsive and supportive during the enquiry process and provided us with a great choice of options. We thought the development and the show home were great and decided to reserve our plot.We managed to complete on the planned day with no problems and Dandara kept us well informed throughout. By using their recommended mortgage broker and solicitors, this made the process really smooth. We're now settling into our new home and are really pleased with it. The customer support team has been brilliant so far sorting out the few bits we've needed help with.Thanks team!

Paddock View Yapton. We are now living in the house of our dreams the quality is exceptional. From the moment we first visited Jo & Val have made us feel valued and very safe. The time spent showing us the house we now have and other ones on the development was never rushed. Jo helped us secure our home, she helped us believe it would happen she gave us great options.
