Hi Neil I want to write to you to let you know what an extra special person Carly Parsons is. She has been superb in dealing with us. Her attention to detail is exceptional, we have remortaged our own house, brought two buy to lets and she has sorted out life Insurance. Each time she has been very professional, but also really friendly. She has managed to work magic, when we didn’t think here was any hope. We brought a flat though Neil the Coventry Branch Manager who also while we were waiting to complete on the deal, kept us in mind that we wanted to rent it out. Talked to people and managed to secure a tenant for us with no hassle to us at all. So we had a tenant as soon as we had completed. We decided on the full managed service this was secured easily and away we went. All the staff in the Coventry Branch of Reeds Rains have been efficient and helpful every time we have rang. It has been a pleasure to work with the team.

A nice, efficient team who make you feel like an individual!

I have dealt with Neil and Cheryl over the last few months while dealing with the sale of my mother-in-law's property.They were always extremely professional and the sale went through in a reasonable length of time without any hiccups at a price that we were happy with. They even managed to get a couple of extra thousands at the final bid stage which almost paid all the bills.They kept in touch regularly and always did what they said they would on time in a very pleasant way.I would highly recommend.Duncan

Too under resourced to provide a reasonable service

Process started well but then fell apart with no management engagement around issues. A key factor for us at the outset was the ability of the agent to show people around the property. However after just a few weeks the 3 person office was down to just one (manager on two week holiday and one person had quit). Unsurprisingly the office could not function as an agency should. We were given no advance warning of the resourcing squeeze. Further we had very poor communication and follow up around an expression of interest, which died a death during the resource squeeze.

Carly was very helpful and she offered good advice on the products available in the market and guided me through the whole application process to purchase! Absolutely fantastic start to finish...Sold our house through Reeds Rains Coventry and cannot recommend them enough..We recieved the full asking price and it sold alot sooner than we thought it would too meaning we got to move to our new home :) so so happy..Thanks to all the team who made this experience as stress free as it can be..Neils years of expertise helped us so much both with selling our house through Reeds Rains and rebuying through the other agents.. Fantastic Experience

Fantastic experience start to finish. ! They say selling your property is stressful time , which indeed it is ,but with the help of Neil and his team I have to say that the whole process went very smoothly, despite a very challenging buyer ! Reeds Rains listed my property within 24 hrs of the first appointment and got me my first viewing on the same day. They accompanied all my viewings and gave me loads of feedback every time we had a viewing. I will definitely use them again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending them- in fact the last thing I told my neighbour was 'change agents to Reeds Rains' Thank you once again Guys - Enjoy my little thank you gift .

Reeds Rains Coventry is an excellent friendly team and successfully aided me with selling of my property. From the honest valuation carried out by Neil, the director of the company, through to completion I couldn’t have wished for a better process. Although I had a weak link in my chain and the first time my sale fell through, the team at Reeds Rains were absolutely fantastic at giving me confidence that the next time I will be lucky; and I was. With Cheryl and Julie both working to get my viewings and regularly contacting me with new people interested in property and feedback from those who had been to see my property I felt really involved . As I work, like many people, Dave was able to do accompanied viewings in this time which was particularly helpful. Use Reeds Rains!

I have used Reeds Rains twice this year. Firstly for a purchase then later a sale. Both times I had first class service from them. Neil Price valued my house for sale and he was correct in his valuation as I sold for just over the asking price. I mainly dealt with Cheryl Earp throughout both transactions. You couldn't meet a more helpful cheerful lady. She always kept me informed on the state of play which is more than either of the solicitors I used did. I highly recommend Reeds Rains for buying or selling.

Managed a very long chain well

We chose RR after getting valuations for 4 companies. The sales brochure and metaport videos were excellent. Initially we have plenty of viewings, things quietened over winter so we took if off the market. We re marketed with a price reduction in spring and quickly had an offer.RR helped arrange a conveyancer: perhaps not our best decision.RR were calm in a crisis when completion approached and the very long chain was getting fraught. Completion day was smooth.Overall, very happy.

Horrible rental experience

Horrible rental experienceRenting a managed property with Reeds Rains has been a horrible experience from start to finish. They took a very long time to fix maintenance issues and even when they did, the issues would come up again in the near future. We had to live in a property which had slugs coming into rooms because of leaks which they took a long time to fix, the boiler didn't work as it should have done. They also made no effort to persuade the landlord to do regular maintenance, including replacing appliances which were very old and worn out. My partner has been dealing with someone on the end of lease team who has a really bad telephone manner. This is a company that appears to be on the side of the renter, until the time comes when you have moved out and they quickly shift to act only on behalf of the landlord and the landlord's interest. What they say on the phone is completely different to how they are on email which makes the process even more difficult. The end of lease team are also VERY slow to reply.We have only ever tried to be great tenants and were exceptionally helpful to Reeds Rains when they were trying to find a tenant to replace us when we moved out. This is soon forgotten when the time comes to leave.The bottom line is this... Improve your post-customer experience and the way you think it is acceptable to speak to people. I can see most of the reviews here are for people buying a property... Beware if you are thinking of renting with them

DO NOT RENT WITH REEDS RAINS!When you first find a property to rent with Reeds Rains they are incredibly polite and very friendly. Throughout the full tenancy they were helpful but a bit slow at times. The reason for this bad review is that their end of lease process is an utter nightmare. The moment you decide to hand your keys in, they no longer act on your behalf and instead decide to take the landlord's side on all issues and disputes, as they are the people paying the bills. The end of lease co-ordinator they assigned to me is rude, aggressive and regularly makes me feel stupid at every possible opportunity. They deal with hundreds of people at a time and their approach is not personal or understanding, it is as if they are reading off a script full of corporate language. The photos they take on the final inspection are not indicative of what it actually looks like and it felt like they did everything possible to try and take money off our deposit.To top it all off, if they do detect an issue with the condition of your property, you have no choice but to accept the cost quoted by their preferred contractor, which is charging us nearly £200 to clean a mark off a carpet. I will never again consider renting through Reeds Rains and feel absolutely betrayed by them.

Dreadful customer service

House purchase took over 8 months. Sometimes this can just happen due to unforeseen circumstances but this estate agent never, ever once called me back when I requested an update. 9 months in, I am now in the property. I have been waiting over a week for them to call back to supply burglar alarm code. Guess what? No response. Had to ask the neighbour to call the previous owner for the code. Absolute joke of a firm.
