The transaction proceeded very smoothly, with excellent communication from Reeds Rains throughout and completed in less than three months. I couldn't have asked for a more effective or professional service.

Really awful company to deal with

Really awful company to deal with. They lie many times and avoid responsibility for their incompetence, Integrity is missing in bucketloads but greed is a paramount behaviour. Why this company is allowed to operate as a tenancy management company with utter contempt toward the customer is beyond me. Hard faced liars. Not a thread of sincerity. Absolutely stressful to deal with and will never go back.

Great service from the whole team at Reeds Rains Coventry

We have just sold our second property with the help of Neil, Mandy and Cheryl, the Reeds Rains Coventry team who made everything so easy. After the initial valuation, which was discussed with Neil, a price was set. Advertising attracted many viewers and very quickly a buyer. When we accepted the buyer's offer Neil advised us that Reeds Rains would stay in the background to monitor and liaise with Solicitors until the final settlement. Everything was completed in a professional manner. We would certainly deal with and highly recommend Reeds Rains Coventry.

Reeds Rain Blackpool - poor Customer Service and Liars

Reeds Rains Blackpool provide a shocking service to tenants/potential tenants. I viewed a property on Saturday and emailed after the viewing to say I was interested but needed the remnants of the previous tenant removing (including dirty pillows and shower gel) and some electrical things checking to confirm they all were in satisfactory working order. I expected at least an email to thank me for my interest but nothing so I called and left a message for the negotiator to call me back. No return call so I called again and was told by the other lettings person that the landlord had rejected my interest with no explanation available. The negotiator, Hannah, had left at this point. I left a message for her to call the following day and still no contact. I rang two more times and finally got to speak to her but she though being told no was satisfactory with no explanation. I said she was meant to negotiate with me and the landlord as without a tenant there is no let. I agreed to store the tat in the cellar and asked her to go back to the landlord. We then got cut off and I rang back and her colleague refused to transfer the call! I advised the Hannah was taking my details (again) and was going to speak to the landlord. She then put me on hold without warning and then came back to say that half an hour ago, the landlord had called to say that their friend was taking on the house. I left it here, but my partner called up today to show interest int he property and was told it was still available! So not only is the customer service atrocious, they are liars too! Avoid at all costs.

Why do we still need Estate Agents in 2024?

Apparently this estate agent can only sell houses during THIER opening times. How ridiculous. All they need to do is contact the seller to ask if they are happy to undertake a viewing after work, around 5-6pm. If the seller is not happy with that, fine, I'll respect their wishes and find another property. My wife and I are registered with them and we've already viewed another property where the vendor showed us round. Don't the majority of people who want to buy a house work for a living? I thought estate agents had modernised their practices but Reeds Rains still seem stuck in the 80s.

When the going got tough, the manager went AWOL

This is in reference to the Rye Branch.All started well with my intended property purchase, but I was to learn I made a big mistake in using their recommended company of conveyancing solicitors.When the latter proved to be simply appalling, the branch manager decided to go AWOL. No attempt was made to retrieve the situation or to contact me.That was the end of the potential sale. So very disappointing.
