We brought a property through Strakers…

We brought a property through Strakers and we couldn't fault anyone we dealt with. We met Cody at our initial viewing. She was able to answers all our questions about the house and provided a great insight to the local area. During the offer process we dealt with David who was very friendly and helpful. Eleanor was amazing through the sales progression stage, keeping us in the loop every step of the way and taking the lead with keeping the other Estate Agents in the chain updated as and when required. Also, not forgetting Vicky who we dealt with over the Christmas/New Year period. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Strakers.

Just wanted to extend our thanks to Matt Stinson and all at Strakers Corsham for going the extra mile for us and finding us the perfect property against all odds, at a time when all the good ones were flying off the shelves the instant they came on the market.Strakers were the only agent in the area that actually took the trouble of informing us of upcoming properties instead of sending out generic spam like the rest.Matt was brilliant. After having a really poor experience with another estate agents, Strakers were brilliant. Isobel got in contact with us about a property that became available again after we'd previously been interested in it, and had us a viewing booked within the week. Viewing was excellent, Tom was professional and answered all of our questions. Emails and calls back and forth about the property all throughout, keeping us up to date and always attending to our queries. Got property viewed, references done, and keys getting collected all in the time we were waiting to hear back from another estate agency. So professional and helpful!

We had a great experience with…

We had a great experience with strakers, selling our house and buying. It sold within 2 weeks of going on the market! There were a few hiccups on the way (not strakers fault) but they sorted things out quickly for us and we are now in our lovely new hone expecting our first baby in 5 weeks time! Support and Communication needed

Strakers were fab at selling our property, but offered little or no support or communication to us but only to our buyers during the whole process. Not quite what you expect from an estate agents acting on your behalf. Would not use again.Note: on one of the rare occasions Strakers engaged, we were also asked by Strakers to contribute towards the rent of someone who was in our chain.

From start to finish a good experience

From start to finish Strakers' Devizes office handled the promotion and viewings of my property quite professionally. There was the odd post-viewing feedback that I had to ask about, but other than that no complaints. I even managed to speak to Guy Straker on a couple of occasions early in the UK pandemic experience. What you have to remember, is that prospective buyers can't be forced to come and view your property but you can make it more saleable.

At every stage of the process of selling and buying, all the Strakers team were helpful and extremely efficient in doing their jobs.Mark put us at ease when placing our property on the market, covering everything we needed to know. Using his wealth of experience he helped us to place our house on the market in a way that reflected how we felt about our property.Marianne kept us well informed about the property we were interested in buying and was very accommodating with viewings etc.Sharon oversaw our sell and buy. At all times she was easy to contact and kept us up to date throughout the elongated process due to covid-19. Any questions/issues were dealt with quickly and thoroughly. The team at Strakers Malmesbury are brilliant! They went out of their way to assist us during the pre-purchase/purchase (and post purchase) periods in buying the property we bought. They were honest, friendly, very knowledgable and provided good information/guidance about the area and links to local services. This proved invaluable as we had moved from the East of UK to Malmesbury area and we did not know any trades in the area to assist us with surveys and subsequent repairs/restoration works to the property. Fantastic

I was surprised and delighted by the level of service I had from Strakers in Corsham. I had 3 local agents to value the property at the outset, but Matt from Strakers was the obvious choice immediately. He knows his stuff, has great local knowledge & is straight talking. He valued the house at a sensible price (unlike one of them who valued it at least £50,000 over what it was worth), & got to work marketing it immediately once we agreed terms. Once the sale was underway, the progression team, in particular George, were fantastic, liaising with everyone involved & ironing out problems as they arose. Everyone I dealt with there were friendly & super efficient. I couldn't have asked for more.

The personnel in the Corsham Office were always friendly, efficient and helpful, and accommodated our viewing requests. Handing over of keys was very smooth and we were kept informed as to what was going on at all time. We did have problems with our own purchasers andthey were understanding and helped us there too.They liaised well between us and the vendor too. Nice touch of a bottle of bubbly for us as a house warming gift.No complaints at all, lovely to now be in the heart of Corsham. Excellent service from a great team!

The service from the whole team at Strakers was excellent from start to finish. My property was very quickly put on the market with Scott's professional help and had viewings almost immediately. Initially the viewings were difficult for the team as we had a tenant in the property but with right guidance the property sold very quickly. I have to say that nothing was ever too much trouble and everyone was always ready to help out with anything we needed, especially as we did not live close the property we were selling. Marianne and the team went out of their way on several occasions to help us out.I would highly recommend Strakers in Chippenham to anyone thinking of selling a property. Scott, Marianne, Codey, Izzy, Laura, Dee and Sharon with the legal progressing, made the whole process so straight forward and have been a pleasure to deal with.
