Georgia and Laura are always kind, considerate and professional, when dealing with my tenants and myself. Nothing is too much bother for them. They have always kept me informed of everything and sent me regular updates and paperwork for my tax bills. They also promptly found good repair workers when things needed fixing. All in all a very good company to entrust the everyday running of your rental property to. Having just moved to a new country and moving from one Airbnb to another was a stressful time and we are so glad to have come across a rental property by HF Lettings. We were met by Georgia who was were very patient and helpful not just with showing us the house and giving us timelines but also with answering all our silly questions that we had as new comers to the country but Georgia was very kind to answer all of them and lead us in the right direction. A very professional and efficient team who were helpful when we called the landline and were also very patient to answer personal questions (like if they recommend a washer+dryer or 2 individual units) and questions related to the rental. I was a tenant, and throughout my year the agency was a very good communicator and kept me informed of inspections and any maintenance needed. However, once I handed in my notice, their communication went downhill. I woke one day to a home open occurring in my living room, the agent stated I had received an emailed prior notice, after double checking I confirmed I had not received an email. It was decided I would receive a call to arrange future home opens. My next call arranged two home opens at two different dates, the first went smoothly. The second I had the agent and visitors arrive an hour early. When confronted by the agent for the state of cleanliness, I asked why they had arrived early. I was told I had been emailed the earlier time and that it was two home opens, not just the one. I checked my emails and confronted the agent with the fact I had received no such email and only had the phone call with the later time. I was told that another agent was meant to email me confirming everything, and had not done so. This was unnecessary stress while moving.

No urgency to fix critical issues with the property. Weeks without a boiler. Mould on the walls which was only rectified after getting the health inspector involved. Workmen that do show up I found to be rude and incompetent, leaving half a job done and requiring multiple visits. E.g a garden gate needed replacing and it was just left nailed to the posts? Tried to keep deposit despite no work being done or any evidence of damage submitted. I found the carpets to be nasty, cheap and damaged. Rude agents. Threatened eviction on questionable grounds but never followed through, causing a great deal of anxiety and stress.

Great estate agents, have been very helpful in accommodating myself and my partner. Laura is extremely professional and a safe pair of hands in which to leave your property. When we had a couple of queries about matters we felt were not being covered as we'd hoped, she sorted them out immediately and went beyond what we would have expected. Excellent tenants were found for our property with thorough checks. Would highly recommend and only put 4 starts instead of 5 because I mark hard and we had one or two minor discontents with a past employee, who is no longer with HF. We used HF lettings when we first moved to the area. We found them to be brilliant, really personal service unlike most letting agents. My wife was pregnant at the time and they were really considerate. We've rented quite a few houses over the years and this was definitely the most polite and attentive service we've had! I'd definitely recommend them. UPDATED Nov 2019: went into their Corsham office to make some enquiries on letting a property out, the team could not have been more attentive. Really well informed and talked me through the key legislation. Laura and the team are real experts and lovely to deal with.
