GoogleI received an excellent service from Ideal Homes. Tean was amazing and it was reassuring to be dealing with a local estate agent that really knows the area. They had buyers lined up ready to view our property in no time. The presentation and photography was fantastic. I highly recommend Ideal Homes.

FacebookIf you’re looking for a place around the Rame Peninsula, Torpoint/Saltash area there is only one Estate Agency, Ideal. Then there is only one MI5 level agent, Tean Nobes…. What she doesn’t know about the area and specific pockets isn’t worth knowing. In my search she listened and found exactly what I wanted and some! She did this with an alarming amount of patience and perseverance. I am very grateful to have used Ideal and had Tean find the property.

GoogleI had never envisaged writing a positive review about an estate agent but the level of service and professionalism I experienced with Ideal has caused me to re-think my jaundiced view. Most importantly their local knowledge ensured that we had excellent advice on marketing strategy and consequently sold the property very quickly at a good price. By comparison to other local estate agents the costs were significantly lower but this did not have a detrimental effect on service. Calls were answered immediately or returned promptly and someone was always available for accompanied viewings - often at very short notice. How many other estate agents offer 7 day, 8am-8pm availability The very helpful team were always on hand to offer advice, even on issues not specific to the sale of my property. They kept the pressure up on the chain and solicitors without prompting from me. I was close to using an on-line agency but very pleased I didn't. If estate agency on the high street is to survive this is how it will need to be delivered, cost effective, helpful, friendly and efficient

GoogleFirst encounter dealing with Ideal Homes Estate Agents in Torpoint. I’ve found that first interaction incredibly unprofessional. I made an offer on a property and was informed it might be a while before they contact me as the vender is difficult to liaise with. The next time I logged on to view the properties I’m interested in I see the house is sold STC. No contact was made to me with regard to accepting, declining or increasing my offer. Hopefully I won’t have to deal with this company in the future.

GoogleGenerally estate agents are those people, along with used car dealers and politicians, that we love to hate, but all the team at Ideal Homes really are an exception to the rule. Over the last 12 months, they have smoothed out the process of buying a property in Cornwall, and in spite of various setbacks, they have helped to achieve a good result, which would have been impossible without their involvement. All estate agents promise to call you when a suitable property comes up....of course they never do....apart from Tean, Katie and Claire at Ideal Homes! They do call you, they do what they promise, they don't mess you about, and nothing is too much trouble. They deserve to do well...whether you are buying or selling ....use them with confidence. On top of a friendly, professional service it has been so reassuring to know that Tean understood exactly what we wanted and would always give us honest and helpful advice. GoogleI have never felt the need to right a review before but on this occasion I felt I needed too to voice how happy I was with all the service I received. We had 5 star service and treatment all the way through the sale of our house, with constant communication through out the whole process, Buying and selling houses can be a very stressful time but the whole team at Ideal Homes took that stress and hassle away, I have already recommend these guys to two of my family members both looking to sell, both very high end expensive properties which were already on the market for a lengthy time with other agents having no success, Stuart sold both these in no time, I really couldn't recommend the whole team enough. Would 100% use them again in the future and 5 stars inst enough Thanks again

GoogleI feel that Ideal Homes deserve this 5* review. We have used them a few times since they began and can honestly say you can expect a fair and realistic approach to buying and selling in the area. Where as other agents seem to tell you what you want to hear, Craig, Stuart and Tean seem to always speak honestly and are ready to give good advice. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and Ideal Homes will be the agent we use when selling in the area. Thanks guys!

GoogleA total shambles of a company. Dont bother! Made an appointment to view, they then called a few hours later and told us there was no way they could make this time or anytime over the weekend! My wife took a day off work to view at the end of the week. We then noticed the day before that the property had a Sold stc flash on Rightmove. Called them was promised a call back, which we didn't get so were forced to keep calling them. Finally found it had been sold 2 days AFTER we were supposed to view on the first occasion! I have never missed a sale before because the agent was incapably of managing their time. They are completely disinterested in talk to us now. Avoid, there are other agents out there, although Ideal Homes don't seem to realize this. There are far better Estate agencies in the town. They profess their 'experience' but the company is new and sure has alot to learn!
