GoogleI have been using home truths since 2016 they were excellent at finding me a tenant and sorting my rental property out. Even the after care especially from John was to a very high standard and nothing was too much trouble, he also greatly assisted with the final inspection. I would recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of renting their property out

FacebookA first class service from start to finish. We had some serious complications that were expertly dealt with each time by John and his team. I've heard too many horror stories now of friends taking their houses off sale because of buyers pulling out at the last minute and other complications. My Dad would have done the same if John hadn't held his hand through the whole process. My favourite John support was when he called the buyers solicitor and reduced the time to get the surveys in from two weeks, to 1 day. My Dad was going to pull out of the deal because he thought we were being messed around by the buyer, but John was there all the way to encourage and see my Dad through. My Dad and I are hugely appreciative of the family style approach, which was also echoed by the solicitor he recommend. Wonderful. Our massive thank you to John and his team xXx

FacebookThis agent has no loyalty to buyers and favours who they want to buy a home in terms of their own interests. We were never given a straight answer even though we put the highest offer in. After 2 weeks we were told to send our highest and final offer. I thought gazumping was illegal!! The agent never communicated effectively between us and has left us feeling cheated out out dream home. Do not use these biased agents who only want what’s best for them.And they also delete negative feedback, only advertising positive to give you a false impression.

FacebookAfter being up with another agent for 7 weeks and not having 1 viewer round I went to hometruths who helped us out way and beyond and they sold my house in 3 days even before the photos were on their website. Unbelievable!!! I would highly recommend hometruths. Nothing was too much trouble and Nina and John were so helpful in so many ways. Our gut instinct went with Home Truths and we were right their perfect marketing strategy and social media presence ensured plenty of interest. Would highly recommend them the whole team were amazing! Very professional and efficient no matter who we dealt with. From initial consultation and throughout the whole process they were by our side. GoogleWe found a buyer and did all the work. We were aware that we had a cooling down period and could have backed out of the contract at an early stage. We did what we thought was the right thing expecting that they may do the same. When we suggested a reduction in their bill due to the circumstances of us doing all the work. Nina, a boss there became angry and hyper defensive. It was very unpleasant. They charged us the full £1300. We have had a lot of contact with the buyer. It says something when both buyer and seller were unhappy with their dealings with this company. Do not use this company...... In response to home truths reply to feedback...... At onset we asked that her rate be dropped from full service rate at 1300 to 800 for fixed rate to reflect that we had found the buyer and were doing all the work. She refused outright. The issue could not be resolved then as she made it clear it was non negotiable. Further contact was very minimal as she was obviously upset with the business discussion she had regarding this with my wife. We still felt that if we continued to be polite etc she would do the right thing. How wrong we were. All home truths did was take a few photos and gave keys to a surveyor from a company involved without asking us if that was OK. The property was in no way marketed by them as we had a solid buyer and told them not to market it. We agreed a price of 123 thousand for the house, told nina this and then she takes credit for getting 123000 for us! I also told nina not to contact the seller as she was moving house that day and was 80 years old. Guess what! She was straight on the phone to the buyer pestering her . We know there were issues...if you want a more comprehensive run down of our genuine satisfaction to be put on this site. I will be glad to do so and will, with buyers permission, add her representatives comments. The financial focus of this company far exceeds its customer focus. I hope she is very satisfied with the extra 500 or 600 she made out of us. In reply again.....I think you will find that most of communication was me telling you what was going on!! We told you early on that you charging us full amount for doing next to nothing was wrong, morally bankrupt actually, that is the only way the matter would be resolved. Nina told my wife to expect a call from you to discuss. THIS NEVER HAPPENED so it is hardly our fault. Dear Dylan, we are really sorry that you feel as you do, as I tried to communicate when I called you. We are not sure why we have received this feedback immediately on the successful completion of the property as we believed that we had enjoyed a good relationship with you personally and you were always very positive about the updates on progress we provided. From the start we provided advice and recommendations for you to achieve the best price, and carried out the instruction which you came into our office specifically to sign for us to market the property on your behalf. Once a sale was agreed we worked to keep it on track and unlocked a number of issues with the purchaser’s solicitor that were causing delays. We have contacted the purchaser who, apart from feeling I had pushed potentially too hard to get a higher price for you, has not expressed any dissatisfaction with the service and updates we provided to her. It is always disappointing to receive feedback such as this, especially as it was after completion and, as we had spoken only a couple of days earlier to arrange key handover we could have resolved the issue then. In response to your most recent comments; as a director of the company I have looked at the notes that Nina has of the contacts she has made between you and the buyer’s daughter throughout as it was this lady who was our contact and acting on behalf of her mother. We have never, including after completion, contacted the elderly buyer. I can see that there have been regular contacts between us, you and the purchaser. I also recall the negotiation process as I was also involved at this stage so we still remain unsure as to why you feel we were not involved. It seems that we all have a very different view of the activity leading to the successful sale of the property and this has left bad feelings for all. It was disappointing not to be able to resolve the issue directly with you when we phoned to discuss. We will continue to review our processes and ways of working to minimise this sort of feeling.
