GoogleI rented my flat with Source Property for almost 5 years- and the service they provide is second to none! When I was first looking to move from Leeds to Clydebank, Kris showed me around a property that did eventually fall through- my issue rather than the agents. However Kris was very quick to suggest others that had come to market and I was able to make a very smooth move! Over the years, if there has been an issue, it has been resolved quickly. Kris and Will have been excellent at communicating inspections whilst being very respectful to my privacy also. All necessary boiler/alarm/electrical etc checks have been carried out with very little disruption. They have also been extremely fair with the policy around me having my pets. I would recommend them 100% to anyone looking to rent or buy a property and can say with confidence that Source Property have been the best letting agent I have rented with through my 17 years renting!

GoogleKris and Will were always helpful and prompt whenever we had queries, and both really friendly. They would get back to us within the hour (a couple of hours at most) when we sent emails or left voicemails. Any time we had something that needed repaired or looked at, they usually had someone out on the same day. The best thing about renting from source was that I always felt like they understood and respected that the property was my home, even though I didn't own it. Letting agencies can sometimes act as though they're doing you a favour by letting you live in a place, whereas with source it felt like they genuinely cared that we were comfortable in our own home. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a property from a reliable and friendly agency.

GoogleWent with source to sell my west end flat due to low rates and their owner Kris being fully upfront with all costs/advertising fees. Was being put up for sale on a Friday and before it was even on all the normal websites, I had multiple calls. Fully booked for viewings on the Saturday and Sunday with it sold subject to normal conditions on the Monday for the full asking price! Couldn't recommend Kris and Source Property enough and he was excellent at sorting out minor snagging issues between myself, the purchasers and factors.

GoogleWorst letting agent I've encountered. Not only does Kris Brown constantly make up reasons to postpone dealing with you as a client. I can guarantee anyone who has dealt with him can't ever get an answer when calling. Definitely would avoid as the guy's clearly not interested in his job. We would always prefer constructive criticism not just a false attack on our business from someone that didn’t get a property they wanted.
We have looked back at our communication with this person and his partner (as we were dealing with both) and the average reply time from ourselves by email or phone to them was 6 hours. This isn’t our “normal” timescales but we feel acceptable during the pandemic and the working issues it has brought.
The main reason for the delay is as follows : In order to be able to still offer actual viewings (not just online) and to meet government guidelines on this we utilise the services of a pre screening company. They vet potential viewers and determine for us if they are suitable to view. Potential viewers contact the pre-screening company we use and they have a 48 hour turnaround time when dealing with this request. On this occasion, the complainer input his own details incorrectly and had to go back and amend them. This then restarts the 48 hour period, which we have no control over. Whilst this was ongoing, someone that had previously passed the checks and viewed the property decided to go ahead and take it.
From the very first time we contacted the complainer (20/01/2021) to us confirming to them that someone else had successfully got the property (25/01/2021), 3 working days had passed. We would always prefer to be quicker than this but sometimes items out with our control mean we don’t meet our own high standards.
After this incident, they have been in touch again about a different property (even though he advised us to remove all his details in a very rude email).
This person has been advised not to contact us again as he will not be considered for any property due to the nature of his communications with us.

GoogleSource Property may seem like a good value estate agent but there are hidden costs. I expected a bill of £999 from them for selling a house but the bill had an extra £200 added, why? £200 added for Source Property agent showing viewers around house(this is not advertised on their website nor was it agreed). Source Property claim to be cheaper than others but with the hidden costs we ended up paying more than we would have if we went elsewhere locally.
My response to your response.
I was 50% owner of sold property, paid 50% of the fees and all decision about selling the house were made by myself. I was the buyer of the new property as well......but you already knew that.
"Terrible Agents", your words not mine. Up until the additional charge appearing on our bill we had no complaints( why would we,house sold for asking price, I was happy with the flat I bought through your company and you were always on the end of the phone if needed). The only reason for poor review is the extra charge.
We took your Gold package which cost £249(admin fee) and 0.6% sales fee(£750).
On the webpage where you advertise this deal it does not mention any additional costs nor did you mention to me or my father that having you deal with viewings would incur additional charges of £200. So our bill according to your website should have been £999 but it was £1199. I think anybody who would have this charge added to their bill( without being consulted) would be unhappy. So when I phoned you about it your response was "that's the price". In my opinion the prices on your website are misleading.
I have written this review so that any potential customers know about this additional charge before choosing Source Property because if I had known about the additional charge I would have used another estate agent.

I am disappointed to see this review from a family member of a client, for whom we sold their property and they subsequently purchased another sold by ourselves (terrible agents!). Our fees and services are advertised on our site, within our terms of business and agreed with clients upfront. We do not include viewings in order to keep our standard fees as low as possible (our website confirms what is included). Clients have the option to carry out all viewings themselves in order to avoid the viewing fee but we are happy to conduct viewings if the client wants us too. In this case we carried out the viewings. We also have a lower fee package than the one that was chosen (also advertised on our site). We can guarantee that no local agent will offer a better or cheaper like for like service and we are so confident that we will price match any genuine written offer, when bringing a property to the market.
