GoogleBairstow Eves Sales and Lettings in Clacton are the most reliable, honest and trustworthy Estate Agents I have met in my property search. Especially I would like to put in a good word for Rick Hall in the Sales team, who has informed me of many details about properties for sale which I have never been informed about by other Estate Agents.

One of worst letting agent , they don’t have any ethics, they just need money 💰, worst customer service, we got a flat for rent in worst condition, they gave without cleaning, used toilet didn’t even flush , really shame on them, when we gave a complaint they didn’t even apologise, and flat is also worst condition, it needs to refurbish but gave for rent. Full of oily kitchen, got shocked after seeing bathroom. Owner will not pick calls, this letting agent will not take responsibility, but they signed on behalf of owner on the agreement. But surely I will not leave them, I’ll post in every forums.

Advertised flat for sale with a alloted parking space, then to be told I could only park my car in a very small space tight up against a wall, the space was smaller than my car, I don’t have a big car. I made it quite clear to Bairstow Eves that I only considered the flat as it had parking, not alloted small smart car only parking! The lies continued with this firm and they just repeat themselves like parrots. It has cost me 2.5k in fees and I have to pull out so a chain of 4 people before me are also going to be effected, I was literally at contract stage, the stress is unbearable that I and others are now going to suffer. I do NOT recommend this company, their tactic is also to say to the seller while you are there, oh don’t forget you have a viewing later and 2 further ones booked in! This is pressure selling and more than likely lies. The management guy that runs the upkeep of the building told me that if I couldn’t park there that I should have my licence taken away, change your car to a smart car! His rudeness continued until I was left in tears, the agent just stood by and did nothing! Avoid this company, they talk the talk but never follow through.

GoogleI would have given Robin and he's team 10 stars if i could. Robin look after my mother and father in law with all there paper work on many, many ,many occasion. Robin keeps you well informed with what going on and was a great help getting the sale through to exchange to contract. First class service on all fronts.

GoogleHighly recommended estate agents, I've only met a few of the staff members Louis, Sarah & Jackie... but they all showed great professionalism & patience... before the tenancy commenced there was a few issues recieving my reference, but Jackie remained patient and very helpful the whole time until it got sorted. Everything ran smoothly to assist me with my move & I couldn't have asked for anything more, amazing team!

I don’t just make reviews unless I have to. But a family member has their house for sale with B&E. and quite frankly from what I keep hearing it’s not a very good service at all. I also did my own way of contacting as a perspective buyer. 5 times I made contact with the local branch and not once have made contact over the property I was enquiring about. It also concerns me that there is no main number to call them apart from the local branches which if they are not providing a good service it will be there word against yours over any complaints to head office. So they have eliminated anyway of taking an issue higher than the branch. Which you need to ask do you want sell or buy a house from this organisation ? Also my family member had their house reduced without any written confirmation of them taking this action. So it would appear they can do pretty much what they like in terms of when it suits them rather than what suits there customers.

Total failure. Rude and unprofessional staff. Very few viewing of the house. Promised communication failed to happen as the norm. Poor quality photographs of house and near illiterate description of house and garden. Agents appear to be in league with the one buyer to get a cut down price so the house could be rented out by them. If you want to sell a home in Hucknall try another agent.

I have a buy to let property in Barking bought from and managed by the local Bairstow Eves office. I'm VERY unhappy with the service I receive from them. I pay a monthly service charge and yet get no service.Every month, the rent paid to Countrywide by Housing Benefit on my tenant's behalf goes astray. Every month it takes weeks of emails to trace the money despite my tenant sending a reference number. Housing Benefit have invited Countrwide to sign up to the landlord's portal so they know exactly when the rent is being paid. I have no idea whether Countrywide have signed up because neither they nor the Barking office respond to my emails. The January rent has not yet been paid to me. This is causing problems with mortgage payments, service charges etc. I'm certain my tenant is not the only person in receipt of Housing Benefit that Countrywide deal with and yet they seem to have no system for dealing with what is after all public money.When I tried to submit this on your feedback form, this is what I gotWe're sorry, but something went wrong.If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

Absolute worst estate agents! Took our 6 months rent upfront told us we could move into the property only to be told 5 hours after we were due to get the keys that we weren’t allowed to have the property after all! We had paid for removals and were literally sitting outside the house only to be mucked about for the entire day. Very disappointing and if we could give them zero stars we would!

Dishonest, incompetent, the last 18 months have been infuriating stressful and costly, systemic failures in their property management team, did not manage the property licensing process, Help2 Rent tenant, let the H2R rent guarantee expire, so no rent cover and tenant in significant arrears, a personal data breach, lost keys, among a litany of failures. Avoid this company at all costs look around do t be fooled by the size of this company, it’s size dwarfs its ability to manage a single property with competence or integrity.

While in the process of purchasing a property i had my mortgage adviser and solicitor, but the agent pressured me into using their services by stating multiple times on the phone the seller would rather the buyer use their services. After the third time i was pressured into saying yes because in all the telephone conversations i was not getting anywhere until I said yes.The mistake I made was having all this conversation in a telephone conversation instead of emails. Their complaint department just threw the case under the bus because I had no evidence and their telephone conversations were not recorded.I avoid this company and their services.

GoogleI have currently been renting a property from bairstow eves for the last two years. When looking for some where to live I found the whole team very helpful. They where patient and so helpful as I’m quite a picky person! Rick the manager was always In Contact giving me updates on properties and when I found one I liked gave me all the help I needed to secure the forever home I required. I have found there never to be any problems with communication and on a few occasions when I needed problems sorted with the property it was arranged and done with in days, nothing has ever been left or not delt with. I would very much recommend renting from bairstow eves I’m sure you will not be disappointed. Happy client
