We bought a probate property from the executors via S&P. At times the deal looked vulnerable because of delays created by the executors’ intransigence and lack of preparation. Ben managed their behaviour as well as one could I think. The property has an overage clause which took some discussion to negotiate from an unreasonable 50 years to a tolerable but greedy 20 years. It became clear that a neighbour has access to our property via a gate. S&P, in Ben’s absence, were not helpful in explaining this. But those irritations fade and we now live in the Cotswolds. Thanks Ben.
