GoogleSubmitted an offer for a property last week. Belatedly had a receipt of the offer yesterday and haven't heard anything since. I emailed regarding it, no response. Gone online today and the property is now listed as sold. No attempts have been made to contact me to keep me informed, very unprofessional service.
Edit: Having seen Durbins response over one month later i would like to clarify. There was no delay in the rejection letter as one was never sent to begin with.

Hi Luke, we're sorry you missed out on this occasion. As Matt mentioned during the open day the offer needed to be full asking price to be accepted. We received a number of offers that day and the full asking price was accepted by the vendor, as Matt later explained over the phone. We're sorry that your official rejection email was delayed, but calls from our agents are also logged as rejection or acceptance communications. The market is moving extremely fast at the moment, so we wish you the best of luck in finding your next home.
Update: Luke, we are very sorry that you feel let down by our service. Matt advised that only a full asking price offer would be accepted, and unfortunately you declined to do so which meant the property was sold to someone else during that open day. We apologise if it wasn't clear to you that your offer was rejected following that conversation, and that you didn't receive this in writing for whatever reason, which we shall look into. GoogleWe've just completed the sale of our first house through Durbins and are very grateful for Karen and Matthew's expertise, patience and hard work over the course of this process.
We got quotes from several estate agents when we first put the house on the market, including national chains, and Durbins were by far the most knowledgeable about the area. They were also extremely understanding and flexible, particularly as the move was an unplanned one for us and we have caring responsibilities. They set up an open day, which meant minimum disruption, securing several viewings and offers virtually right away.
Through no fault of Durbins nor our solicitors KTP - who were amazing - things didn't go to plan and what followed was a very confusing and stressful period in which sales fell through multiple times due to issues on buyers' side. Karen and Matthew were brilliant throughout, working so hard to keep lines of communication open and reassure us through some difficult patches. They also have really good working relationships with local solicitors, meaning we didn't have to worry about everyone being kept up to date. Our most recent sale went through smoothly and very quickly thanks to their knowledge and proactivity, which was much appreciated. Thank you for sticking with us.

GooglePoor services, unprofessional conduct, inadequate information and misrepresentation.
The information provided by Durbins in their advertisements is misleading and they are withholding relevant facts. Their excuse is a disclaimer at the bottom of the advertisement so they can shamelessly lie in the description.
We've incurred financial loses due to their poor services and we will forward our complain to the Ombudsman.
Stay free from trouble and wasting money, look for your future house elsewhere!

GoogleSold my house with Durbins a number of months ago and couldn’t rate them highly enough! Karen and the team were absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for more from them. From valuation to the physical sale Durbins were professional at every challenge presented (To which there were a few). They were in constant communication with me, almost on a daily basis at one point and knew exactly what needed to be done at every stage of the process.
At the quotation stage it was clear there was no obligation to use them and at no point were they pushy or chased the progression of the sale. It was set out at the start that if I wanted the matter progressed I was to contact them and that was stuck to. It’s clear that they care about their clients and want them to feel at ease with the service they provide. They are more than aware of the stresses that the process puts on people and will do anything and everything to reduce this for you.

She came and valued my house in Efai Isaf and within 30 minuetes of taking photos had 2 prospective buyers outside bidding to buy which we sold to the highest bidder and pleased with price . .Over the past 10 years my wife and i have bought numerous properties ans resold through Durbins . Karen and her team have allways been at hand for help and advise in our transactions , they access prospective buyers before viewing and you know if they make a offer they can proceed and not just coming to have a look .
There integrity on honest approach is refreshing in these days and with the popularity of internet agents , its still good to see the agent face to face where you gain confidence in the agent , not just a email .

GoogleAfter 6 months of house buying stress, seeing 2 houses fall through and dealing with other estate agents who lacked customer service skills I can honestly say that the Service provided by Karen and her team was exceptional throughout the process. The way they dealt with my partner and I was professional and we would purchase/sell through this agent again. Their excellent service was demonstrated on our completion day which turned out to be nothing short of a disaster due to a near collapse of our chain. With two distressed new home owners desperate for their keys the team leaped into action discussion the situation with our vendors and both solicitors to ensure we got the keys as planned. The staff stayed past their opening hours without putting any pressure on us! Although late we got our keys on the agreed day! Thank you Durbins!

Dead mouse& rubbish right outside the back door of a rental property.I didn't discover this until I had signed the paperwork because they conveniently didn't have back door key(which was in the security box at entrance of property!!
I didn't get to view the backyard until i had signed the paperwork &received the keys.I told them the property was unsuitable &was then charged £180.00 Administration Fees for afew bits of paper to be photocopied!! I Will be in touch with my solicitor regarding this matter.

I had a viewing book for 15/11/2023 at 10:00am as the time has gone 10:07 I had decided to call them back to double check if they are on the way only for them to say that they call me and tex me on the day and I didn’t reply to the tex or answer my phone? (No record on my phone of any call or messages from then) clearly they didn’t bother showing up and they didn’t took me seriously I did had a email with a confirmation viewing on the day of my call to book and another mail on the day of viewing so I did show up to waste my time
I will never bother with them at all poor understanding of customer service and poor understanding of a serious property buyer
