GoogleExcellent job by the team in the Christchurch office. This was the first time I have been involved in a house move as part of a chain and I was kept fully informed by Jordan, and others at times, about the progress of the other parties either side of me in that chain. Good communication throughout the process in particular towards the end when although the exchange and completion came about rapidly, we were able to manage thanks to being kept informed by the team in a timely manner.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleI sold my property through the Christchurch office to a buy to let investor. Unfortunately I wasn't given correct information about the sale from the start which led to a drawn out transaction taking too long. Not once was I updated without asking and only when I complained did I get regular updates. Then when the lettings side of Slade's wanted to show a prospective tenant round before it completed I agreed to one viewing and was assured it wasn't being advertised on-line for rent. So I was shocked to find it on Rightmove days before completion when I hadn't given authority to do so. When I spoke to them they didn't see it as a problem, saying that my buyer wanted it advertised for maximum exposure. I really don't understand why I hadn't been asked as it was my property until completion and can only assume they thought I wouldn't notice. I'm stunned at the level of service I received from both offices and would not recommend using either of them.

We are very sorry our service did not meet with your expectations on this occasion. All we would say is that we managed to get the sale through in about 11 weeks from sale agreed to exchange of contracts which is well under the average in the current market. As someone working in the estate agency business yourself we hope you have appreciation of the pressures our staff are working under. Thank you for your custom.

GoogleAs I will be moving into my 'new' house in a few days time, I'd just like to say it was a smooth journey from start to finish. This was due to the wonderful team at Slades in Christchurch. I can't fault them in any way. Mark, Jordon and Ben especially worked very closely together to make this happen. So if you are thinking of selling your property please give them a try.... You'll be glad you did!!! Maggie

GoogleFrom the outset the Slades team responded to our needs. We were in the unenviable position of being at the higher end of the price spectrum. After a year of trying we hit the 'Covid' situation which might have derailed our sale. However, with regular contact & price drops to a sensible & acceptable level our agents came good. Slades 'put the work in' & I would recommend them without hesitation.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleJust had a conversation with Mark on the phone after finding one of Slades' properties on Rightmove. He could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and he really went above and beyond to give me as much information and tell me about numerous properties suitable for my requirements. Was so refreshing to speak with someone who really wanted to help. I look forward to viewing some properties soon and finding my new home!

GoogleRecently sold a property and was very happy with the service received, my main contact was Alex. Good communication, quick to respond, patient with me stressing, easy to deal with, and also found a reasonably priced tradesman to help at short notice to rectify an urgent issue. Happy to recommend them.
