Great service from Emily Bradley

Keenans provided a good service for our house purchase and our contact at Head Office, Emily Bradley, consistently went above and beyond in order to see the process through to completion. Emily consistently chased both sets of solicitors, sometimes doing their job for them, and the Land Registry in order to speed things along. Without doubt Emily was the most helpful person in the process for us; she was great. 5 stars for her personally!I would only raise two constructive criticisms about the process in general. Firstly, we were incorrectly told that the property we were interested in was freehold rather than leasehold initially, and it took several weeks for this to be corrected, by which time our offer had already been accepted. This was a significant error and whilst Keenans did apologise for it, it should never have happened with such a key piece of information about the house. Secondly, I would have really appreciated a direct dial number to Emily at times during the process. Moving house is a stressful process and it seemed unnecessary to have to go through the switchboard every time we needed to discuss an issue, as often only one individual was fully appraised of the matter. In future I think this information should be distributed once an offer has been accepted and the process is moving forward.Overall, I would recommend using Keenans, they provided a good service during our purchase and Emily was extremely helpful throughout.

House went online for sale on Saturday and sold on Tuesday! Advice and support from Adam about how to prepare for our sale meant we were able to spend a few weeks getting some jobs completed which would add value to the agreed sale price and then BOOM! - the house sold so fast and for a significantly higher price than it went up for. Thanks to Johnathon for his hard work getting us online quickly and negotiating a very efficient sale, thanks to Jess for the great photos and also thanks to Kieran for keeping us updated whilst the sale went through successfully last week. A very efficient and professional service that made the stressful process of selling a lot smoother than my previous experiences! A great experience all round. Thanks again.

Excellent service

I would not recommend our first agents in Barnoldswick, our house was up for sale with them for 18 months and we never got 1 viewing.We went with Keenans and in the first 2 weeks we had 3 viewings.We got a buyer but unfortunately it fell through (no fault of Keenans) due to our buyers wife being seriously ill.Our house went back on the market and within a very short time was sold again, this time it was successful.After selling we were put in the very capable hands of Liam.Liam was excellent and was always on hand to answer our questions, it seemed nothing was too much trouble for him.He phoned us weekly with updates even when there was no change to the current status.He is with no doubt an asset to Keenans.

I was recommended Keenans by a friend who had used their services before. I was aware that although the market is quite buoyant at present it would likely be a long, complicated and frustrating process to sell a house given how busy agents are and the restrictions from the pandemic.I needn’t have worried. Keenan’s were proactive, diligent and worked extremely hard to get the house online and ready to sell as quickly as possible. Not only that good to their word when they said they had buyers looking for my house I had multiple viewings booked in on day one.The very first viewing offered that same morning the full asking price of the house and the property was taken off the market on the morning it was put on!At this point I still expected things to take time. Hiccups. And all of the other delays you would see. Especially as I was due to go on holiday too for two weeks.None of that. Everything went extremely smoothly. Surveys. Searches. Solicitor engagement. Comms between all parties.Alll in all the sale from start to finish took under six weeks which is incredible. The service from Louis, Chloe and Kieran was phenomenal. They were always on hand if you ever needed them and over delivered on everything they promised.Keenan’s we’re a pleasure to do business with. And next time I am selling or buying I will be sure to use them. The team in Burnley are a credit to Keenan’s and exactly what you want as a seller and buyer.Faultless.

Great service from start to hopefully finish!

We have been using Keenans for a while and the service has always been great. We had the initial meeting with Richard, he was very knowledgeable and helped us get up and running in the sales process. His valuation was very accurate and the lender survey matched exactly. Due to no issues of ours or Keenans we had to re-list the property, in stepped Terri (or Terrific Terri as she is now known in our house), Terri has been relentless with getting us viewings and kept in contact with us at all times. We are happy to say that after some well vetted viewings we are about to move to our new home. Thanks to both Richard and Terri for all the hard work. In a particularly challenging time for everyone during the pandemic we were nervous about putting our home up for sale and moving. Really pleased with the support & guidance

Keenans gave an honest valuation of my mother's property. After we agreed to go ahead the particulars were emailed to me for my approval and listed on 'Rightmove' too, within a matter of days. There was a lot of interest in the property straight away with 9 potential buyers offering their final offers. We accepted an offer that was well above the asking price! Fantastic friendly service

Having purchased through Keenans in 2018, we used them again to sell our house recently, whilst also purchasing a new property marketed by Keenans. We dealt with Johnathon B during the early stages, and then Sam K during sales progression. Both made the process of buying and selling much more relaxed. In particular, we would have regular contact and updates from Sam, and not only was he professional but the level of service was also personable, which I think was really great and a nice touch. We would always trust Sam to chase up where required and also answer any questions we had. A CARING AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

Keenan’s dealt with the sale of my late fathers bungalow in Read, they were considerate, sympathetic and professional throughout the entirety of the process. Paul came to value the property and he made us feel at ease, we knew instantaneously we had chosen the right agent. Lacie’s photographs were absolutely beautiful and reflected our well loved family home in a fantastic light! Would recommend!

Sam came out and valued our property and gave us suitable guidance as to what price we should choose based on similar properties that had sold in the area. The way the property was listed was prompt and professional. We were really proud of the advertisement that was put on the website. Jack promised that Keenan’s would promote our property in any way they could.All parties acted on their promises and Jack / David and the team worked hard to secure a buyer and I am truly grateful! Keenans have provided an excellent service from start to finish. They valued the house at a realistic price and kept in touch with me during the whole process. I must in particular offer my thanks to Emily who took over the process once an offer was made. She kept in touch with me on a regular basis and offered great support delivering on whatever she said she would do. The photos in the brochure were to a high standard. I also particularly like that I was asked for a couple of memories about the home and the area which they incorporated into the description of the property. Excellent service.Keenan's sold our house the day it was put on the market. Shocking,unprofessional service!

My whole experience with Keenans Blackburn was shocking! I was in the process of buying a property and at the start they couldn't do enough for me. Once the offer was in they never returned calls or emails. When I did speak to them they were rude and unprofessional and wouldn't even allow me a second viewing for weeks after I had made the offer. Then Lauren tried bullying me into exchanging contract before survey in and lied and said it may go to sellers family member (solicitor said there was no family member). Then the builders survey came back and the property needed a new roof,chimney and full of damp and Keenans told me to ignore the surveyor! I told them to shove the sale and I have walked away and dodged a bullet!

I called Blackburn branch to make a viewing instead i had someone called Jonathan Berry push me into selling a property with keenans once he found out that I'm selling with your move.So rude absolutely disgusting the way he spoke to me. Instead he starts telling me negative things about your move and that I should look to get keenans inIf i wanted keenans to sell my property i would call them. I simply called to book a viewing for a property on the market?!When asked for his name he pretends the line is breaking up and that he cannot hear me.NOT PROFESSIONAL, POOR SERVICE absolutely DISGUSTING!I’ve heard negative feedback from sellers however this poor service i have witnessed myself.Unlucky Jonathan is unaware the call was recorded when he starts getting rude!I will be making a formal complaint!Avoid Keenans!

The team at Keenans work exceptionally hard and are really good at what they do. They are helpful, friendly, enthusiastic, honest and professional. Communication is clear so that all members of the team are able to deal with your call. We felt that the level of service we received from both the team at the Chorley branch and, in some cases, branches in the surrounding area was friendly, professional and proactive. Whenever we rang the Chorley branch we were able to speak to someone, whether it be a team member at Chorley or our calls were put through to another branch. Keenans use a centralised system so that any questions or queries can be quickly dealt with even if the person at the end of the phone is from another branch. The team are always able to access your file and update it. This filled us with confidence knowing that someone at Keenans was taking care of our request. Despite the fact our house went on the market during the pandemic, not once did we feel that we were receiving a slimmed-down service. Selling a house can be incredibly stressful but the attention we received from Keenans from the outset made the whole process easier. Our property brochure was brilliantly put together. Photographs were of a great quality and Keenans consulted us during this initial process to make sure the property went on the market and attracted a lot of interest. During all our phone calls, Abbie and Katie and the rest of the team are so friendly and helpful and offer assistance at every step of the process. The branch manager Sam went above and beyond in helping us market our home. The team at Keenans are clearly passionate about their work and genuinely care about their customers. We felt that this is what makes them stand out from other estate agents. We have already recommended them to family and friends and hope to use them again in the future. A very positive experience of selling our home

We have recently sold our home of 44 years with Keenan’s. It had previously been marketed by another Agent with no sale. From the first visit Sam inspired confidence in the possibility of a sale and suggested it was marketed at a higher price than previously. Throughout the whole process we were very impressed by Sam , Abbey and the team at Chorley. We loved the promotional ‘walk through’ video and then we waited for the phone to ring....and ring it did. In the first two weeks we had seven viewings and three families who wanted to purchase the property. We were offered the full asking price by a lovely family looking for a new home - and cash buyers. Once the sale was agreed we were contacted weekly by the office and at every stage the staff were always there for us at the end of the phone. We could not have asked for more from our estate agent. If you are thinking of selling or buying a home look no further. Keenan’s is the agent to go for!
