We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way.We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. The pre-sale advice we received was relevant and helpful.The team achieved a very good sale for us during a difficult market period and helped us negotiate a final price we were more than happy with.Overall we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone with a distinctive property to sell and seeking a first-class estate agent service.

We were buyers of a property listed by Jackson Stops. We experienced some uncertainty towards the end of the conveyancing process and were nervous that the entire sale would fall apart. Thankfully, the communication from James and Ria was positive, consistent, and of high quality. If James said he would contact me by the next morning with news, he did. I credit them with saving the entire purchase. Very grateful for their efforts!

the best estate agents around, truly a seamless and easy experience, moving/renting/referencing can be really stressful but the team make things really quick and stress free. the girl who moved me into my property is no longer with the company but the level of professionalism is still brilliant. i had a leak which was resolved really quickly, their communication with this issue and in general was 10/10.they really do set an example of how estate agents should be 👏🏼💘

GoogleBuying a property can present significant challenges and give rise to a good deal of stress at the best of times and, even more so, during the current period of national economic uncertaintly. Rupert and his team greatly faciliated our purchase process by their excellent communication, and straightforward, whole some, even handed approach. It was clear to me that while Rupert and his team were properly focused on doing their level best for the seller, they were appropriately understanding of the challenges faced by a buyer in the current economic climate. There were a number of occasions when the sale - purchase process faltered for a variety of understandable reasons. The diligent, sensitive, well balanced, professional approach delivered by Rupert and his team, carefully piloted the sale - purchase process through these choppy waters. By going the extra mile, and taking a great personal interest in the process, Rupert was able to succeed in bringing the sale-purchase to a mutually satisfactory conclusion. If I had to sell a property, I would be very happy to engage Rupert and his team to faciliate the process.

Throughout the process of our sale, Jackson Stops wonderful Shaftesbury Team were at all times, responsive, constructive and extremely helpful wherever we had moments of doubt. In particular, at crucial moments in the sale they were able to 'helicopter' above the emotionality that inevitably accompanies a house sale or purchase and provide laser like advice which was so much appreciated.Another strong quality was the overlapping of the whole team with each knowing the others updates so that whoever answered the call or email, they were able to instantly respond.All the staff were unfailingly cheerful and courteous at all times and there was never a time when a call or email wasn't responded to.All in all, one of our best experiences todate and we would have no hesitation in recommending a would be buyer or seller to the JS Shaftesbury team led by James.

Review for Jackson StopsWell, not sure where to start but at first interaction I thought professional, credible and personable until we realised the game they were playing behind the scenes. We went through some negotiation with the seller, fine, get that this is part of the process. Our significantly above asking price offer was finally accepted, with a condition it was taken off the market. After three weeks, we asked if we could show ours kids around and so we did. Despite knowing we would do this, they had been negotiating with other offers and told us on Monday (3 weeks after our offer was accepted) that they had a formal offer through from another seller. Whilst I appreciate they have a legal right to do this, I think they have a moral obligation to let us know especially as we’re showing our kids around that weekend. They then asked us to go into a bidding war for a house we had already had an offer accepted for. They had said that the person had given a written offer which is bizarre considering they never asked us for anything in writing and my agent had advised to write in so they responded to our offer in the first place as communication with this agent was nonexistent! This shows how this company works - underhand and unprofessional

Tracy and Anthony have been just great - very patient and understanding over the months we've been looking for just the right house. I never got the feeling that they were only after a sale, because I also found they were honest and informative, so that we were able to make the right decision based on facts as well as feelings. In the end, the house we've found is out of their area, but I was so grateful to them and their friendly advice and practical help which made us feel that our future mattered to them.
