I would not recommend Atwell Martin based on my experience as a landlord under their full management service. There were repeated failures in communication and basic property management. I was not informed that the property was becoming vacant and had to discover this indirectly. I received no meaningful feedback from viewings and was not told that the tenant was restricting access, all of which are fundamental to managing a re-let effectively. Following each tenancy, I encountered multiple issues that had not been identified during inspections, raising serious concerns about the thoroughness and reliability of their inspection process. Clear and direct answers were consistently lacking, and I found myself having to repeatedly chase and extract information that should have been provided proactively. When I challenged the individual on these issues, the response came across as defensive and not focused on resolving the concerns. There also appeared to be a high turnover of staff, and the quality of service was inconsistent and dependent on the individual handling the property at the time. These are not minor oversights, they are core responsibilities of a managing agent. The lack of oversight and communication contributed directly to an extended void period and avoidable financial loss. I am also surprised by the number of positive reviews, particularly as many follow a very similar pattern and refer to the same individual, which does not reflect the service I experienced. Tenants have advised of prompted reviews. Overall, the service lacked professionalism, transparency, and accountability. For a fully managed service, this fell well below an acceptable standard.

The team at Atwell Martin have always been very helpful and reactive to any questions or assistance required with the property. Due to problems at a previous property (AM not at fault) I needed to move quickly. Sara reacted very quickly and found me great new property within a couple of days, and subsequently managed all the complicated documentation and dealings with the landlords. Everything has always progressed seamlessly and the team have always been friendly and supportive. I would definitely recommend Attwell Martin.

I have just sold my home with Atwell Martin and couldn’t be happier with the service. I mainly dealt with Miles through the experience and his service is second to none. When he first came to my home to complete a market appraisal he was very well informed and prepared. Talked me through everything and already had a solid plan in mind to get my house sold. I listed my home with him on the Monday afternoon, with a viewing booked for the Tuesday morning and receiving an offer on the Tuesday afternoon! Sold in less than 24 hours!! Throughout the sale Miles and the team have always acted with the highest level of care, concern and patience. They have kept a cool head when unexpected things happened and kept everyone playing nicely. I strongly recommend using Atwell for their great service, fair prices and general skill level!

We just moved out of a three bed in Chippenham that we were in for almost two years and it was managed by Atwell Martin Estate Agents. Initially we looked at this and renting another house in Chippenham that was let by a different estate agent but these guys seemed far more trustworthy and professional (the houses were of similar quality and cost) so we chose this one and it turned out to be a great choice. Any problems were dealt with as quickly as the landlord would allow. Both Sophie and Sara were also very pleasant to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
