Extremely poor service. No interest with selling our property. Never call back and no one in branch (Preston Drove, Brighton) answers the phone. Always a different agent showing the property. One viewing the agent turned up late and missed the viewing.

Our staff arranged many viewings, some of which were unfortunately cancelled by the viewers and we are sorry if you were not kept fully appraised of what was happening during that time.It is regrettable that a member of staff was delayed which resulted in them arriving later than planned for a viewing however we understand that they attempted to make contact with you to advise, but the call went to answerphone. Once again we would like to express our regret that we were unable to assist you with the sale of your property and would like to wish you the best for the future. GoogleOur experience with Cubitt and West was very poor, they were great until the rental contract was signed and then the relationship changed and we were treated terribly. We had to continuously chase them for maintenance and at one point threatened to have the washing fixed and send them the bill before they would do anything. When we moved out after nearly two years they tried all sorts of things to keep the deposit. They refused to reference the 'moving in inspection report' when conducting the final inspection and tried to bill us for things that were already damaged/broken when we moved in. We eventually went to the Ombudsman and won the case. We later found out the C&W had told untruths to the Ombudsman in order to keep some of the deposit. The approach C&W took was the same no matter who we spoke to, they seem to treat us a some third class citizen and they ignored our rights. I would not under any circumstance recommend Cubitt and West.
