GoogleWhat an awful experience we had at Bell and Blake. We came in to their office no one greeted us to even ask how they can help. We had to tell them as they didn't seem interested at all. When we spoke to them that we wanted to register, they didn't even offer us a seat and didn't ask anymore questions about what we want or need or what our current situation is. They literally just took our details and that's it. Very miserable people there.

GoogleI would without any hesitation use Bell & Blake again and cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for an estate agent. They were always so polite and pleasant to speak to and never let us down. I have dealt with various members of the team and found them all to be this way. GoogleAll staff at Bell & Blake have been helpful and professional during my purchase of a property, they have been the 'friendly face' during the conveyancing (which can often feel quite formal and unfriendly when solicitors questions are going back and forth). They are very customer focussed and provided an interface between buyer and seller which smoothed the process. I always felt informed by Bell & Blake, and that nothing was too much trouble.

GoogleYesterday evening at 5:50pm, on a Friday, my partner received a call regarding the house we’d had an offer ACCEPTED on and paperwork had commenced for. To my partners surprise it was a call to explain we had been, (Bell and Blake had allowed the immoral, nearly illegal in England, action), gazumped. Buying and selling a home should be a simple process, we had our hearts set on that house and had set the wheels in motion to make it our ‘forever home’, and we are absolutely appalled by the lack of morals shown in this situation, by all parties, but mainly by Bell and Blake, who expected us to accept this news and counter with a higher offer, and this opinion is shared by our friends who we have told and I’m sure it will be the general consensus by everyone we tell and everyone they tell. It’s so incredibly disappointing that a company would allow that to happen, sadly we aren’t in Scotland where this behaviour is ILLEGAL, but we can vouch for other estate agents in the area who refuse to allow it to happen and hats off to them for not ruining people’s life plans, like Bell and Blake did yesterday, by allowing it to happen. This has made us really question the ethics behind the ‘sale’ and our ‘accepted’ offer, were we lied too and this third party were always on the cards to do this and we were not made aware? (Apparently viewed before is but not in a position to buy, and that changed yesterday) Why did the ‘sold’ sign only go up yesterday and not when our offer had been ’accepted’? It’s absolutely disgusting and I hope that the Scottish Law regarding house sales comes to England to stop this unethical practice. You have now put our house sale this end in jeopardy and left us back at square one, thank you for that. Please thank the vendors and the new buyers for us as well. We will be sure to spread the word on how great Bell and Blake do business.
