Unfortunately, lost my last long term tenant earlier this year, and the property was in serious need of some major renovation/updating. Amina Mirza has been brilliant in managing the entire process for me, seeking professional guidance, recommending contractors, negotiating, resolving any disputes, keeping me fully informed on a weekly basis, being clear about what decisions need to be made, when… as well as also giving design tips!! Hugely dedicated, including a 7am Saturday meeting at the property! Am very grateful, amazing service!

One of the things that made my experience with Mathews of Chester great was the responsiveness of the staff, Karen was indeed a lovely person, she was not tired of my messages. I did most of the arrangements for the apartment from outside the country, and concluded the rest when I arrived. That was great to me.However, one thing I was not happy with was that no body came to show me around the house. At first I didn't know exactly were I was supposed to dump my refuse, I had to get the key to the dustbin house from a neighbour.

As a management company they do not fix issues when raised (broken dishwasher 5 months to fix, and fixed if n day if leaving, and shower never fixed after 3 months of issue raised) or release your deposit when the landlord is happy for it to be fully refunded. Very poor communication from the “relationship” managers.
