This company does not deserve your business or respect

if you are considering dealing with this company then think again. I have dealt with this company on two separate occasions. first time was when I rented a property for a short time. luckily when I viewed the property I took photographs of every room, just as well because when I moved out they said I had caused stains to the carpets. thankfully I had date/ time and location stamped photographs to prove otherwise.our second experience is a lot more serious. my step sons father died of cancer and left him a property in trust that this company have been managing for the last 7 years. fast forward to present day, my step son finds himself homeless and living in hotel that we are paying for. the Tennant is refusing to move out of the house despite us giving 2 months notice to move out. we have been fed a pack of lies and deceit by this company and its staff. They never answer the phone to us and never return calls. we have now been forced to take legal action.

High level of service from independent agency

The other reviews here seemly totally out of character and makes me wonder how much involvement the vendors had with directing the process. I have found both Gerry and Linzi to be great, they have called the buyer and solicitors immediately every time I asked, they have followed my directions regarding keeping the property and garden tidy (it's vacant). They have given advice regarding price, decoration, maintenance. Feedback has been prompt and often. Prices charged have been fair and price setting for the town. Linzi especially, has worked hard with my guidance to push the sale through.I have also used this agency when viewing properties in the past and selling my own house in 2009. The have performed well upon each occasion, hence returning this time (2018). The fact that they are an independent agency means you have a more personal service than the massive chain agencies give, due to the scale and accountability. I recommend Coulby Conduct and the current team.

Very Unprofessional Oufit - Poor service

Absolutely unprofessional service, whoever is running that operation wants a kick up the back-side. Made 2 viewings to see a property on the first viewing they rang up 10 mins before the viewing to cancel, on the 2nd viewing they didn't even turn up. When we rang to ask where they were, there was no explanation just an apology, they then said we do the viewing later in the day. Even though the office was clearly manned they didn't even offer to send someone round to come and open up. We wasted around 3 hours of our time with these clowns and decided not to arrange a viewing for a third time. total shambles.

Unprofessional Service.

Coulby Conduct found a buyer within a few days (albeit in a area where houses sell very quickly when priced right),However the communication from this point was virtually non-existent.When we did here from them, it was to ask 'us' to contact another agent on their behalf !Ten days after the 'Exchange of Contracts' and three days before 'Completion' we still hadn't heard anything about key arrangements etc. Phoned the Northwich Office and was told that our solicitor had not passed on this information. Contacted the solicitor who said that was UNTRUE, a letter HAD been sent on day of exchange.We then received a demand for £600 (on top of the £3000), we had paid, even though the fee had been agreed at £3000 all-in.So overall, a very unprofessional service.

Zero stars!!! TERRIBLE! Please stay away when selling and buying a house. Gerry and Linzi are abusive, rude and dishonest with countless number of failed call backs over vitally important matters. Seriously rethink any decision to buy and sell any property with this agent. No property on the market is worth dealing with these people.
