GoogleStacy and the Disley office were supberb, 5 stars all round, we can’t recommend them highly enough. We weren’t without a few hiccups buying our new place, but Stacy got us through it , and always with a smile and good humour (something you need when moving house :) )

TrustpilotAwful service and expensive fees. Landlords should use someone else.
Been with Bridgfords for a few months and cant really give positive feedback back on any part of their service. They are slow to respond, aggressive and generally useless. Their service centre is completely separate from the lettings team which results on breakdown in communication and poor service. They are great at selling their service to entice you in then run a mile once you are signed up.

They will call you in and tell you to speak to their mortgage advisor who then tells you that he can get you the property if you sign up with them for £660+ non refundable, he will use their own solicitors too. My wife and I asked what about the other bidders and he said, the vendor won’t see those bids don’t worry. This is completely illegal and we walked away, he then said you are willing to walk away from this deal and get outbid. I said yes I would rather lose out on 20k than give you one penny. It’s kickbacks galore in that place and we know full well we will now not get that property. I would love to speak to the person selling the house but they have moved abroad and left these clowns in charge.

GoogleMost unprofessional company ever, absolutely no morals and do not take there word for anything (Jannette). We had an offer accepted on a house with agreement it was immediately withdrawn from the market SSTC and no further interest entertained, low and behold the lovely people at bridgfords did the exact opposite and we ended up being gazumped. We had instructed solicitors and booked survey but they don't care and will go back on there word....Beware of these untrust worthy outfit.

However, should you not be aware, I would like to inform you that it is a legal requirement for all Estate Agents to put forward any and all offers received to their seller, up until the point of exchange, even if the property is not being actively advertised. Ultimately the decision to accept a further offer is always that of the seller and not the branch. Therefore, whilst i understand your upset, I do believe you comments about our team being untrustworthy to be unfair and untrue. GoogleBRIDGFORDS DISLEY. I would like to say at this stage we have just put our house up for sale with this branch. We contacted and had numerous other estate agents around to value our property. From the moment Mike walked through the door there was already an element of professionalism about him. We knew almost instantly it would be them we used. Mike works with Ginette and Rachel in the office who again deserve the same praise. To say they work as a team is an understatement. Fingers crossed we sell our house to enable us to bring our family up in our dream forever home. I will keep you posted!!

GoogleThe whole of the team at Bridgfords in Disley have been superb supporting us in our quest to sell our property and finding a future home. Its easy to say that everyone was great. But for us they have been exactly that. Along our road of selling we came across a number of other agents in the are where we viewed properties. Most of them are very poor at following up and looking after your feedback. Mike, Rachel and Ginette did exactly the opposite nothing was too much trouble no matter how challenging the request might've been. When I come to sell again yours is the first number I shall be ringing. Thank you.

We sold our flat with Bridgfords Swinton and the experience with them was terrible from start to finish. They over-valued our property by £15,000, meaning that when our buyers applied for their mortgage they refused to give them their full amount, causing us to have to sell the property for £15,000 less as we didn’t have the time to put the property back in the market due to our chain. We had further issues with our buyers’ mortgage application causing a huge delay in the sale, and we actually ending up initially losing our forward purchase due to this. Throughout this whole nightmare Bridgfords were absolutely useless. We told them time and time again to call my partner instead of me, due to our professions, and they constantly ignored this and rang me. We had to deal with our buyers directly as Bridgfords had very little communication with either of us, and would actually ring us to ask for an update on our buyers situation! Causing us more stress and an extra party to deal with and update. Whenever we spoke with Bridgfords they had absolutely no idea what was going on and couldn’t keep track of any part of the sale. They were by far more of a hinderance than a help. They also didn’t conduct any showings of our flat themselves (as they had initially sold to us) and we had to do every showing as whenever we asked them they said they were busy. They charged us £2,200 for the pleasure of all of this.Overall, if we ever come to sell again we will be sure to steer clear of Bridgfords and would highly advise others do the same.

I had a very bad experience with one of their estate agent in cheadle hulme. Be aware of Omara, she views you the property and stands still and doesn't even puts up an effort to speak or show the property. A pure lack of training and wonder how bridgfords keep a check? On top, if there's other properties to see, they'd give you excuses and never deliver what they promise, delays on delays. I guess barely they have good agents and mostly its all bad. Its pitty to know what such companies has such employee who works as if they are forced to do so.

We went to Bridgfords because they got the best reviews on Google. OMG if they are the best, just imagine what the worst would be like. Gave us a very dodgy valuation 30% above what we eventually sold it for.

GoogleHaving instructed the Disley branch of Bridgfords on three occasions as a vendor and having also purchased through this branch I feel well placed to review their services. I have found the branch to have both a happy and professional atmosphere where the very experienced staff and management alike seem to genuinely enjoy their roles and conduct themselves with integrity, something, sadly, often amiss in this industry. This level of integrity should be welcomed as it benefits all customers whether purchasing or selling. My latest dealings were as a vendor, my sale was looked after by Rachel whom I found to be very professional, friendly and attentive keeping me informed throughout the whole process. I was also impressed that Michael facilitated both Rachel And Ginette to visit my property in order to be better positioned to describe it to potential buyers, indeed I felt that the branch as a whole took active roles in securing me a sale, they work very well as a team bringing a good balance of both professionalism and energy to the office. The service I have received on all four occasions has been exemplary, I have always been kept informed at every stage of the process and have been very happy with the level of interest my sales and purchase have been given.

Do not under any circumstances go with these! They will steal from you. They never asked prior to us applying whether we would need a guarantor and because it became obvious we did after application they decided not to go with us and stole our holding deposit from us. We a family with a small child and a baby on its way and they refused to give us our money back. They wouldn't budge a little bit. Not even offer a little bit back. Horrible estate agent that will rob you blind. Do not trust them!!!!

My tenancy ended on 9th Jan and I emailed Bridgfords to ask how I go about getting my deposit back.Emailed again on 15th Jan saying there had been no reply received to my request.An agent did respond so say someone from the deposit team would be in touch.Chased again on 22nd Jan advising that nothing had been heard - to date zero response.They were very good when it came to take my money. There can be no excuse for the lack of engagement. A dispute has been raised with MyDeposit.

A one star rating is too good for this business! Completely inept from the agent to their so-called professional mortgage broker. Allowed seller's solicitor to harass and bully me and also bombarded me with messages whilst at work but didn't answer calls when I tried to contact them. I am now out of pocket as seller has withdrawn the property even though it still shows for sale.
