FacebookI have had a terrible experience with Bidmead Cook in the Forest of Dean area. I am leasing a house that is managed by Bidmead Cook, the house was not cleaned or prepared for handover, there was so much dust, mould on the windows, mould bathrooms. The whole place smelled very bad and both my wife and I developed a cough soon after living there. We had a nightmare just getting the key from Bidmead Cook. The washing machine doesn't work, the landlord refused to make it good so we decided to buy our own, and then Bidmead Cook told us that we can't move the landlord's machine out, but I don't think they even discussed this with the landord. We have been hand washing our clothes in the bath! Bidmead Cook are very slow to reply to any emails, or they don't reply at all. The landlord has agreed to various small repair works, but after 1 month of living at the property nothing has been done because Bidmead Cook are a terrible management company who can't organise anything !!

The staff are very rude until they want something from you, and they are not prepared to move outside their boxes to work with potential customers (as tenants). They refuse to show people around on Saturday, on two properties so far. despite the fact that I am prepared to pay upfront rental of 1 year or more on properties showing £900/£950 per month.

FacebookHaving recently become a vendor of Bidmead Cook, and in particular the Pencoed office, we felt compelled to put our own review.Having recently instructed them to handle the sale of our property through the Pencoed office we have developed a relationship with the ladies who work there. They really do go the extra mile for their customers and looked after us every step of the process. They are always professional but more important to us was how friendly and helpful they always were. Plus they were really quick to get the virtual tour and professional photos carried out straight away. I would rate this office 10/10 and recommend anyone who wants a personal friendly and professional agent to go there. I have used other agents over the years and they have been fine, but just not given the same service we had off these lovely ladies.

FacebookSold our house, above the asking price, within four days of it being marketed. Thoroughly professional and likeable staff, who are devoid of the usual reputation that's synonymous with estate agents. No incessant calls to try and push through to completion, as you get with most estate agents who only want their commission. This company offers a bespoke service to its customers, leaving you feeling valued and important. Would definitely recommend.

GoogleUnprofessional!! Try to avoid this agency! Appointment booked few days ago and when I was calling 1 hour before to confirm that someone will be at the property, they said that the agent with whom I booked the viewing is not working and they had no idea that the viewing was booked.
