I lived in a flat for 3 years and Mark made the process very smooth and easy. Any time there was an issue with the flat then Mark would get someone in to sort it quickly or come and sort it himself! I cannot rate this estate agent highly enough, there are only five stars & they deserve at least double this in my opinion! Sam was helpful, courteous, professional & went over & above to ensure that I was clear & happy with his interactions in the sale of my property. I felt peace of mind because I knew that I could get hold of them out of normal office hours. I would not hesitate to use ME & YOU Estate agents in the future. Prior to instructing Mark to sell my house, I contacted other local Estate Agents, including considering the one whom I had previously let my house through. The criteria for my choice was essentially to feel that the Estate Agent was working for me, not primarily acting to sell the house at any cost, one whom had integrity, was unpretentious and easy to deal with and with a competitively priced commission. The house was in a very saleable area, in very good repair and there was no chain and I therefore anticipated a relatively straightforward sale. Mark presented extremely well, he was very professional and had taken the time and made the effort to do thorough research on similar properties in the area, prior to our initial meeting. He was extremely prompt in attending, advising on price, taking photographs and launching the property on the web site, within a very few days. Viewings were arranged and he attended all viewings, in an unobtrusive but helpful way. His communication and feed back from the viewings was very speedy and useful. Within a few weeks, and after a number of lower offers, the house had sold for the full asking price to a buyer with no chain. Surveys were arranged and some minor issues identified, and then several months delay before the valuation survey was done, which raised further queries. Mark was able to mobilise contacts which allowed me to arrange for a structural survey and woodworm survey, he also provided a very good and prompt gas safety check heating engineer for the boiler. Despite there being no identified issues from the structural survey and only a small localised issue with the woodworm, the buyers attempted to offer significantly less. When I rejected this the buyers pulled out and the house went back on the market for one day and Mark re-marketed the property and viewings were quickly arranged. The buyer changed their mind and the sale process recommenced. Throughout the very protracted process, Mark liaised with the buyer, the buyer's Solicitor, my Solicitor and the buyer's mortgage broker to try to identify the issues and expedite the sale. Following on-going comprehensive liaison with all stakeholders, including emails to my Solicitor, the sale was finally finalised. This would not have happened if Mark had not been constantly and consistently diligent and committed. Because he was in touch with all parties and able to communicate information, his led to less capacity for parties to contest that 'we are waiting for the other side'. The amount of time and effort that he committed to my sale is hugely commendable, he was very supportive of my decisions, his communication skills and diplomacy served well in a process which had the potential to be fragile. He often text me at weekends with updates and I felt that I could totally rely upon him to serve my best interests. A long review, but I felt it was important to evidence why I wish to give such an exemplary review to an Estate Agent who has worked tirelessly and was so committed to progressing an extremely difficult sale. I would unreservedly highly recommend this Estate Agent, Mark's commission on this sale has been earned several times over and I will always be very grateful to him for his professionalism and competence. I honestly thought selling my house was going to be a complicated process but Mark from me and you estate agents made the whole process easy and simple. I would highly recommend using me and you estate agent as Mark was always on the end the phone to answer any questions or concerns i may have had. Contact was maintained every week whilst the house was on the market to let me know how things were going. I also used solicitors who were reccomended by Mark and again great choice as they maintained contact and were very helpful with anything I needed. We came to Mark to buy a house after our previous purchase sadly fell through at the very last minute. The standard of customer service we received with Mark comparatively to the estate agents we worked with beforehand is second to none; nothing was too much trouble, everything was actioned promptly and efficiently and Mark was always contactable as and when we required him. As a result, my husband and I were able to move into our new house within 2 months, meaning that we didn’t lose our buyer for our house we were selling and we have now got our forever home which is simply perfect. Having experienced a service with Mark that is exactly what you would hope for and more personalised than other larger estate agents or internet based estate agents can provide by definition, we would have no hesitation in using Mark in the future to sell.
