Apathetic, duplicitous, Avoid!

Apathetic, duplicitous, Avoid! As a tenant they were apathetic towards any issues with the property resulting in several weeks without hot water, or working toilet. After ending my tenancy they used deceitful and duplicitous tactics to drive down the amount of the deposit to be returned. I cannot stress enough how Important it is for tenants to avoid this company

I’ve at present just rented a property…

I’ve at present just rented a property from Andrew’s, and I’ve got to say their approach to rentals has been disorganised. When initially viewing the property they cancelled an hour before, even though they where aware I was travelling from the midlands. The tenant kindly offered to show me the property. When paying the deposit and first months rent they emailed me many times, but when it was payed I couldn’t get hold of anyone to arrange to pick up the keys to the property. I had to make various phone calls until I had an answer. I was then subsequently given less then 24hr notice to pick up the keys. Following this I was told the flat would not be vacated of the previous tenants furniture even though I had checked that would be the case. I was therefore unable to fit my furniture in the property after making moving arrangements. They then suggested I moved the property myself or take a day off work to let a contractor in to move it, again with less then 24hr notice of me moving in. When I arranged to pick up the keys, the inventory employee was 30 minutes late, he didn’t even call to inform me. I had to call him. I had travelled from the north, a four hour long journey and still been on time. I really would proceed with caution if renting from this company. It appears they do not communicate effectively or put rental customers as any priority. Update when I moved into the property it had not been cleaned and there where multiple damages to the property. The inventory employee did not include these in his report classifying a broken toilet seat and shower door as not a priority. When moving in late I was called for works to be conducted by a contractor. Works I have not been informed of to replace a bathroom cabinet not fix the damages that where reported.

If you want leeches and villainous scum…

If you want leeches and villainous scum to deal with when renting, then these are your go to guys! There's a certain saying regarding not doing something even if they're on fire, and that is true.Had a breach of contract for the past 8 months along with countless issues and Andrews have been about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. They caused some of the issues with their neglegence too, but love pointing fingers at anyone but themselves. Once they owned up to it they dragged their feet so much that two months down the line after the admital, they still have done nothing about sorting it. Way way way more issues but if I wrote them all here, I'd be writing a book. Although I must say my favourite issue being the fact they hired and used a cowboy builder who wasn't gas certified. This uncertified builder then removed our gas hob. When we found he wasn't certified we contacted Andrews, who couldn't care less about it. Genuinely funny how bad they are. I'm moving out in a week and quite frankly cannot wait to never deal with these scumbags again. See you in hell.Note: don't contact me with your we care rubbish, I'm going through various motions already. This is my vent and caution to others and that is all.
