Please ignore all the fake 5 star reviews saying things like Daniella is great (she really isn’t) and you are left with a lot of people saying the same thing which was also our experience. Once they have your money you’re gonna get ignored. We had several maintenance issues which we reported which were ignored and don’t even think about getting your deposit back without having to go through the ombudsman. Do yourself a favour and steer clear.

From asking for valuation on my house through to completion, all the staff at Balgores were so helpful & looked after me every step of the way. It was a long & complicated journey but I’d just pop in & get any issue sorted out there & then. As a technophobe they would always help me with emails, copies & scanning things straightaway. It felt like sitting there & having a chat with friends while they had my back & sorted anything out. Highly recommend, thank you all guys!

Fantastic service from Balgores and Ricky Nelson

Fantastic service from Balgores and I don't say this lightly. I primarily dealt with Ricky Nelson from the Chelmsford branch who was superb selling my late Nans park home. What started out at being a straightforward sale after 2 weeks turned complicated with the buyer having a number of issues to contend with from the sale of their own property. Ricky Nelson ended up getting very involved with the buyer and really in my mind made pushed the sale through which otherwise would have failed. Well done Ricky and many thanks indeed. 5 star service...

I was really impressed with Balgores

I was really impressed with Balgores - they managed a sale and purchase for me. They were tenacious, engaging and went above and beyond what I expected from an agent. I had several buyers drop out and they managed to get new ones within a week allowing me to keep the house I was purchasing through them as well. My sale and purchase took 10 months! but they did not give up and did everything they could to help secure my new home. My agent Sean was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble and would message in the evenings and weekend as soon as he had an update so I felt constantly in the loop with what was going on and supported through what was a very stressful process! I would highly recommend Balgores Romford.

Well organized and professional team

Buying a property is very highly likely to be very smooth specially for the first time buyers. And even all the property agencies are not the same in terms of dealing with individuals. A Highly Disappointing Experience with…

A Highly Disappointing Experience with Balgores Romford Estate Agents I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling service I received from Balgores Romford. Despite their grandiose claims of being able to sell my property within two weeks, my experience has been a frustrating and costly ordeal that I would not wish on anyone. After enduring 40 viewings and reducing the property price three times, the agents failed to deliver on their promises. Instead of taking responsibility, I was shockingly advised to find another agent. To add insult to injury, they ultimately admitted that they could not sell the property and suggested it be removed from the market altogether, a direct contradiction of their earlier bragging and assurances. To compound matters, I was charged £1,100 for searches and conveyancing fees, which were never even provided. This feels not only like a breach of trust but also outright exploitation, especially given the lack of results and the dismissive attitude I encountered. The entire process was riddled with miscommunication and false promises. Balgores Romford has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer care throughout. I strongly urge potential clients to avoid Balgores Romford at all costs. If you feel compelled to use them, ensure you conduct extensive due diligence beforehand to avoid being misled as I was. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and out of pocket, with no results to show for my time, effort, or financial investment. Balgores Romford’s service has been nothing short of disgraceful.

Great customer service/care. Me and my partner (First time buyers) brought a house through balgores basildon last week. We were shown around by an estate agent who was great. Very help full. We also went back a few weeks later to do some measuring up, estate agent was great and letting us get on with what we had to do. Sarah is who I dealt with most and she was brilliant. Really helpful on the phone, updating us weekly. Also a big help as it's all new to me guiding me on what's the next step. I am really glad I sold my house with Balgores Agency. At first, I thought they may be so busy that they wouldn’t give me the time I need to sell my house and understand the process as I know they are well known but these weren’t fact just my assumptions. Kish Oogarah was my contact and he was really nice and professional. He got involved until the end of the sale, keeping himself updated on where the sale was at. He gave me a few calls to keep me updated. It was really useful to sell with Balgores and I would recommend it.

Selling with Balgores of South Woodham Ferrers

Balgores of South Woodham Ferrers were extremely helpful in the selling of my property. Yes they are paid but they seemed to me to go the extra mile. They gave helpful advice on the first visit on how to present the house. They answered all my questions without using 'jargon' and always made me feel that me and my property were very important. Maria helped when it came to filling in forms and keeping me updated with how the sale was going. From my personal experience I would certainly recommend the South Woodham Ferrers branch, nothing was too much for them and they make wonderful tea too. Thanks to Clive, Marie, Lucy and Tom.
