Avoid if possible. The agents were discourteous and appeared unfamiliar with key details about the property they were marketing. While it’s understandable that the seller’s interests are a priority, a balanced approach that also respects and supports prospective buyers is essential. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling that reasonable questions during viewings were not well received. I ultimately lost nearly six months pursuing a purchase through this agency. In contrast, I was able to secure another property within 2 months through a different estate agency that was far more professional and courteous throughout the process.

Mandy, Sophie and the team at Northern Etchells were a fantastic help to me in selling my apartment. I had difficulties with the first buyer falling through and straight away Mandy and the team were on looking for someone else. Mandy gave me sound advice throughout and when I was choosing which Estate agents to use, it was Mandy’s visit that secured it. She was knowledgeable and there was no hard sell. I would steer clear of this estate agency. They appear to have some underhand tactics pretending they are unable to access a vendor to allow viewing by potential purchasers. I made multiple attempts to arrange a viewing of a property and I could not understand initially why it was difficult to arrange a viewing to be told the vendor had accepted an offer. This was quite odd when presumably no viewing had been arranged. I can only assume they had some preferred purchasers lined up in the back ground. That is fine but If that was the case decency demands they should have been transparent about it from the outset and not mislead or waste the time of potential purchasers.

I called them a few times, but either they were too busy or the staff didn't care about the customers, every question I asked for, she said she would have to find out but didn't say she would get back to me! Basically do not care about the customer's time. Will not call them again and definitely won't be recommending them.

BUYERS BEWARE - if you want to get gazumped, these are the estate agents for you. We got gazumped after providing proof of funds, ID's, and mortgage decision within 24 hours of having our offer accepted. The experience in setting up a viewing was poor with the estate agents not being able to provide ANY detail on the property prior to the viewing (they said they'd made a mistake with the property feed so the listing was no longer available, I now wonder if they were gazumping yet another buyer.) - they couldn't get their act together to provide a listing by email. AVOID AVOID AVOID SELLERS: I strongly recommend not selling via this estate agent, behaviour like this results in them being blacklisted by repeat buyers (myself and my network now included) Being "entitled" to do something, does not make it good practice, fair practice, or moral practice.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
