I could not live with myself if I advised anyone wrongly when it came to selling their very precious and hard earned homes. Sometimes people should sell and sometimes people should not sell depending on timing and circumstances and its within me to adivse people what is best for them (and not for me) and let them make up their own minds. You have a magnificent property which you will sell eventually but the timing is not right for you both at this moment in time. Thank you or putting your heart and soul into this review which I can feel in every fibre of my being. You are a very good man who has worked so hard for so many years and should only get the very best out of life for yourself and your wife going forward. Dear Simon, I am very sorry that you were not happy with your experience with purchasing a property through us. This is most unusual as most of our business comes from referrals. The sequence of events is is not exactly what happened. Lesley and I would be more than delighted to meet with you and go through our call logging system and trails of emails. Sorry Lesley was dealing with Joanne on this and had no time ever been speaking with you, Simon. Lesley did advise Joanne last week that the vendors solicitor had requested the return of the contracts from Joanne's solicitor as her solicitor was not returning calls and the vendors solicitor was concerned that it was more "stalling tactics". The vendor and the vendors solicitor were also concerned that despite sale agreeing on the property Joanne was buying there was no contracts signed after 7 weeks which was way back in August and Joanne still hadn't signed contracts up until the end of October as you were still awaiting on a loan approval. Our vendor has come under huge pressure in the last few weeks as the people owning the property he is buying are demanding to get contracts signed or they would return their deposit and put their property back on the market. Our vendor didn't want to loose out on what he was trying to purchase in Maynooth. I am sorry we must take our instruction from our vendor and the vendors solicitor who requested contracts to be returned. We did not want this to happen to you both and I am truly very sorry but this was out of our hands. The normal time frame from sale agreed to contracts signing with mortgage approval and loan offer and not being in a chain should be three weeks/5 weeks max.
