Just bought my new home back in Ireland after over 30 years abroad. The agent at Sherry Fitzgerald Gorey ( Linda Christopher) couldn’t have been more helpful. The process turned into a bit of an ordeal but Linda was there to help any time she could. So 5 Stars for service. That always came with a smile.

We were tenants of a Sherry Fitz property for almost 7 years, and were always happy with how they handled our inquiries. They were also very helpful when it came to us moving out, and accommodated us when we needed to change the date. SF also returned our deposit promptly. Incidentally, Paul, who was responsible for conducting the intermittent inspections, was an absolute delight!

I went with their mortgage broker service and they provided me at the end with the absoulote worst offer in the market making my pay more than 7K over 3 years.

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Pippy Proger, the real estate agent who helped us buy our new apartment. She was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process! This company is amazing especially Mark Lawlor. They sold my house quickly and efficiently. It was really easy to catch Mark on the phone for any queries. He did a great job in getting the best price for my house whilst having great integrity by giving transparent information both to me and to the buyers. He guided me and provided excellent advice from start to finish. I give Sherry Fitzgerald 5 stars and will definitely use them in the future. They are a little dearer than other companies but it's worth it for a seamless service. I got a valuation from another company for the same house and they valued it €105k lower than what Sherry Fitzgerald valued it at and obtained so Sherry Fitzgeralds valuations are more accurate.

First off we clearly understood the costs right from the start, no fluffy answers to 'how much will this cost'. We sold a house in Galway with Sherry Fitz. I really regret choosing them. We did had some bad luck. The agent had an illness mid way the sale and then another agent had to sell it who'd no interest as, our property was small. But also, their process is to only do viewings twice a week. If people couldn't make those viewings they wouldn't show them the house. It definitely didn't show the house to all those who might have been interested. The second agent didn't follow up with several people who'd shown interest, despite me asking if she did. Over all, there far better agents in Galway who are flexible and will do more work to show your house. Before you sell, contact a few agents as if you are buying and see how easy the make it to view a house etc. Wish I'd done that.

Liaised between ourselves and the vendors to ensure closing went smoothly in the end. From how to prepare the house for viewings to making sure all my paperwork was in order. Any query I had was promptly dealt with and felt they were working diligently on my behalf at every stage.

GoogleI was a client of Sherry FitzGerald Celbridge and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with this agency. Upon the recommendation of our SF agent, we priced our property 10% below our initial expectations, which was not a good decision as we could have achieved a higher sale price. Throughout the process, we worked primarily with Karen and Eoghan. However, we observed that the agents seemed more focused on accommodating the winning bidder's interests rather than advocating for us as their clients. Despite raising these concerns and expressing our dissatisfaction directly with them, we saw no meaningful improvement in the service provided. We felt considerable pressure to accept the offer. The transaction was more complex and lengthy than typical due to our relocation outside of Ireland, which made the lack of adequate support particularly frustrating. The attentive, client-focused service that other reviewers have praised was simply not our experience.

Rachel is amazing! She completely took the stress out of buying my own home. I was well informed at all times of what needed to happen to move through each stage of the mortgage process, the expected timeframes and how to minimise potential pitfalls.Rachel is a top class broker with great product knowledge of all the products each lender and life insurer offer. The features and benefits of each product were super well laid out so it was easy to see which lender, rate and insurance were the best for me to go with. I'm grateful for all her help throughout and her colleague Jane's help at the later stages for drawdown and would recommend anyone to apply for a mortgage through her.
