Very annoyed with sherry fitzgerald…

Very annoyed with sherry fitzgerald tallaght. Mislead about a few things during the already stressful process of buying apartment. I was told on a couple of occasions that furniture was included so I gave all my furniture to charity shop, only to find a completely empty apartment to move into. Have to now spend money I don't have to buy a whole new set of furniture on Christmas week. Very unprofessional people.

No respect, no professionalism, BIG No company!

OH, my God! they are careless and 100% unprofessional. We traveled to Ireland to see their propriety. The call center girl was dry manners like she was doing a huge favor to call you and let you visit the room. The man to show the house came late, forgot the keys, and didn't have a clue about the house. The property was dirty, smelling, and damaged. The next day when we asked questions about the house's functioning they got angry and someone informed us that the house had been rented. I wonder if there is a worse service than that. My experience was below the expectations. I hope that the Irish real state market can not be based on that, no respect to the prospect.

Web chat gave no info just looking for as much pers information they can get out of yoy

I went on Sherry Fitzgerald website sat 15June24. I was looking at specific property and an offer to chat popped up "what do you want to know about this property" I replied is this still on the market and if so what is the current highest offer. Chat replied "great question who am I talking to" I gave my name. Then chat asked for my phone number then my email. I asked again if the property was still on the market. Chat asked me if I was also selling. I said no. Chat then told me they were at home,had no access to information and someone would contact me Monday. I was duped into giving my info under the belief that the person chatting could answer basic questions. I went on the website again and got another offer to chat. I was curious so I started to chat again. Again they asked for my name. I replied that before I gave them my personal info could they tell me some basic info. The person chatting said they could see I had been talking to a colleague. I asked what the point of all this was as they could not answer basic questions. The person chatting then wrote " I think we've lost the connection are you still there" I answered yes I'm still here. But I got a message saying connection lost. The whole thing seems like a scam to get personal info. Is this chat run by Sherry Fitzgerald and do they take responsibility for keeping it secure. All they needed to have is a recorded message that the office is closed contact them Monday.

Never again would I deal with sherry…

Never again would I deal with sherry Fitzgerald Farrell after my experience with Justin. He was the most unprofessional person iv ever come across and shafted me over a house I was the highest bidder on for weeks. It’s so obvious he sold it to a friend or someone he knows. I’m absolutely disgusted and angry and upset at the way he’s treated us .the online bidding platform magically kicked me off the bidding and I contacted Justin to tell him and he hung up on me and wouldn’t return my calls or texts. And boom house sold to someone else in minutes after I being the highest bidder for weeks.

Actually non-professionals stay away

Actually non-professionals stay away. Their agent discussed my private information with a third person, this one told me all about it. When I asked for closing dates they were always elusive. I was in the lead for a house for over two weeks without anyone making further offers. When I called to find out where we were in the negotiation as soon as I got off the phone after 1 minute a new offer came in. The lack of transparency and the lack of professionalism of the agent makes me suspect that there is something dishonest going on. In the end I withdrew my offer despite being very willing. When it comes to investing my money I want answers to my questions and I want to deal with serious people not kids. Sheery f. Go hoe the fields! Dear Sarah thank you for your interest, but I honestly do not intend to waste any more time with Sherry fitzGerald. By the way, the day after I withdrew my bid and went out. Your agent sent me an e-mail trying to push the price further outside the online auction. Shameful stuff.Fortunately, there are serious agencies in Dublin that publicly announce bidding deadlines on their sites. And deadlines for house viewings. They don't play games to raise an extra EUR 2,000. When a customer has to invest over 500K in Cash. I'm just telling you that your agent lost a 570k cash sale, to try to pull in an extra 2000k. The house is still for sale today.

We as a customer we have right to know what is the reason for unsuccessful. I have applied for more than 10 houses not even one I got a viewing. I understand there is a huge demand and applications. But I have applied at the very first moment it is posted. We are a full time working with clean record and I have mentioned it to them in my intro. I really don't understand how transparent they're in this process. It leads to doubts of internal dealings and unfair procedure. I appreciate you technology of automated process but when customers are spending time to fill in details and showing serious interest. Isn't your options to take your time in reviewing the application fairly to give an opportunity for the serious applicants.

Unprofessional and very disappointing

My property was a new townhouse in a very sought after attractive area. When I enlisted my property with SF they promised they had a database of interested customers and my house will sell quickly. I was under the impression that the size of SF would work for my benefit but I turned out to be wrong. I was "just another customer". There was no personal touch or effort put into selling my house. In fact they brought the digital team to do the marketing piece a day AFTER I moved out, when the house was a total mess and without staging anything - showing the house "as is" (and actually worse). At one point the agent advised me to sell the house at a lower price than the one THEY recommended to list the property under. So either they overpriced the property or they didn't deliver! Either way I found their service very unprofessional and very very disappointing.

Instructed Sherry Fitz to sell my home this year - just after the post-Christmas lock-down.The environment was uncertain and stressful. Their quiet competence and confidence was just great. We worked out the pre-sale spending budget, and they were active with meeting my requirements. The standout for me was when there was a bump in the sale path, they were proactive and honest. They also behaved very ethically when dealing with the bidders which I found comforting. Overall, I can't imagine talking to a different agent when selling again. I dealt with Barry Ensor and Andrea Whelan in Rathmines office.

Totally Disgraceful

Totally Disgraceful. We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.
