GoogleOdd phone call, really. I Rang with some confusion over a valuation requested by my father, who has Lewy Body Dementia and unbeknownst to me, wanted to sell the house and move to a different country. I own half the property. I was uncertain if it was this branch or not, but quickly was told it was, and the lady was very pleasant, hence why I have not given a 1 star review. Why the other 3 star reduction is given is when I started to enquire about the relevant costs involved re valuation, sales options/plans etc I was told that the valuation would happen THEN the costs would be revealed. I asked again for the costs per sales plan and was told the valuation would happen first, THEN costs would be discussed. I took umbrage at this response and said that the valuation was booked without my knowledge and if I did consider selling the property I would want to know the costs involved upfront before deciding to go ahead or not and was given the same response. So, in short, the lack of transparency is the reason for reduced review.

GoogleWe are genuinely grateful to Lynsey, Chris, Karen & Lisa in the Carrickfergus branch for their help and support in selling our home. Having sale agreed a property to move to through another branch of Reeds Rains, we put our home on the market with Reeds Rains Carrickfergus. All staff were very professional, personable, caring, supportive and honest throughout the process. Communication was very good indeed. I was informed promptly regarding viewings and follow up information on viewings was also prompt. Chris communicated closely with the buyers and both the selling and purchasing solicitor and we felt that everything was closely coordinated. We were delighted to have completion just before Christmas! Many thanks to everyone in Reeds Rains Carrickfergus. We hope 2023 is a really good year for you all!

Terrible customer service . I have not found one person on reeds and rains to be polite rather extremely rude. I wish I didn’t even put 1 star in reviews . They deserve none. Absolutely unprofessional behaviour. Nobody should be treated the way I had been treated. What kind of self entitlement can possibly dictate such behaviour is beyond my comprehension.

We applied for a house to rent in Folkestone. The estate agent was not supportive and kept asking for additional document. Furthermore they were not willing to resolve the issue they thought has happened but kept blaming their third party. I am extremely disappointing by their support and response time. And the case is still ongoing for the past 2 weeks.

Worst company I've ever dealt withI beg anyone thinking of renting with these people to stay well away. In April the isolator switch to my shower became jammed on, was emitting heat and giving a strange fishy smell. I Googled it and it suggested the strange smell suggested compromised wiring and it was high risk for an electrical fire. I called out an emergency electrician and he stated that the initial fitting was wrong and that the shower was not safe for use. I reported this to Reeds Rains on 25th of April and despite chasing them repeatedly it still hadn't been fixed by the end of July when I moved out, so I essentially went 3 months without a working shower.I was given all sorts of nonsense excuses about the ticket being accidentally closed accidentally and then told that they couldn't find a contractor to come out to where I lived (which was Wilmslow so not exactly in the mountains). Eventually they sent an engineer who was a gas engineer. The problem is that there is no gas in the property! So again the problem was reported and still they did nothing.On top of that, they are now trying to keep my deposit to cover disrepair that was present before I moved in - they are essentially trying to get me to redecorate the landlords flat for free. They have the cheek to make claims against me but do not feel obliged to maintain the property on their end with regards to the shower.I've convinced 3 people to not rent with Reeds Rains and will continue to convince as many as I can not to. Save yourself a lot of hassle and stay away!
