DO NOT BUY OR SELL WITH BAIRSTOW EVES SOUTHEND ON SEA. Absolute Mickey Mouse setup where the agents dont even know who to contact to confirm a viewing! And so rude and unprofessional!Happy to explain more but not enough space!! Plenty of good Estate Agents around, I implore you not to use them!!!

Both Amy and Sharon were amazing through the whole process of moving into a property. I didnt quite beat the post with the first property I tried for but within a week they had messaged me with another place and then it was all systems go and I was moving in before I knew it. To all landlords leave them as soon as you can. These people don't listen to landlords. They done investigate. They only work to pass on cost to landlord. They dont care if the property is damaged or not been looked after. They even done care if tenant is in breach of tenancy agreement.

As a first time buyer, I had no clue what I was doing. All the staff there have gone above and beyond to offer guidance and assistance, especially Sofia - she went well out her way to keep me up to date with the process, and to explain a lot of things I was unsure of. We bought a house which was sold by these guys and Jared was the agent dealing with the sale. He was AMAZING! Seriously, he went above and beyond and without his help and persistence there was no way it would have completed as quickly as it did. There were some things that went wrong (e.g. boundary disputes) that could easily have dragged it out but he was on the case the whole time. Every time he said he would find something out and call us back he did. He provided an absolutely brilliant service to both sides and we cannot thank him enough! Jade was our trusty point of contact, and when she took a day off for training, Amy swooped in to save the day. And let's not forget Joe, who kept us in the loop when Jade and Amy were off gallivanting. I would strongly discourage anyone from renting student property through Bairstow Eves based on our experience at 14 Devonshire Promenade this year. During the middle of winter, our house was left without heating for three weeks, which is completely unacceptable, especially in freezing conditions. We were initially told we would receive compensation for this, but that promise was later withdrawn without proper explanation.
