I had a great experience working with Belvoir Carlisle. They were very prompt with arranging viewings and the process to confirm the house and signing up my contract happened within a span of 3-4 days. The entire process was very hassle free and I am grateful to the agency for their prompt service. I need to specifically thank Kath who helped me with lots of information around renting and leaving properties. Overall, I would definitely recommend Belvoir Carlisle as a trustworthy lettings agent.

I highly recommend Belvoir in Carlisle (previously Bulmans) which has managed properties I let for the past 17 years. Probably enough time to work out Adele and her staff know their stuff!! They’ve always been a pleasure to deal with, all with a great sense of humour, tolerating my demands, bad jokes and sorting in a timely way the inevitable problems with property letting. Some agencies I’ve experienced (none at present, thankfully!!) have failed to communicate, which is miserable and costly. This isn’t the case here, as it’s understood how vital communication is. Nothing worse than hearing too late or not being pre-warned of issues. As a landlord, with several properties across numerus letting companies, Belvoir Carlisle are one of the best. I regularly receive updates on my propriety. The letting agents carry out very fair and justified background checks and also provide very detailed home visits to make sure the property is well kept and to a high standard. Furthermore, they provide a very competitive management price of the property. Finally, I am only contacted by the letting agent regarding maintenance required to the property and receive regular emails regarding up dates to the company and how they can improve their service. I recently took up the tenancy of a flat for which Belvoir were the landlord???s agent. Belvoir were very helpful at every stage. There were a few teething problems at the start of the tenancy beyond their control but their staff gave me their immediate help, which involved calling out a plumber, an electrician and a roofer to my flat who all attended to the matters in hand without delay. Whenever I contact Belvoir by email or phone, I get an immediate response.

Another company abusing paying tenants. I left this flat cleaner than I found it, and it was agreed by safetydepositscotland that i was left in a cleaner state but still Belvior managed to squeeze £70 out of me for a professional deep clean..... They will try to take away your deposit for leaving a hair in the bathroom and fragments of fluff on the floor. Meanwhile they will happily let you move into the flat containing mold, just look at the pictures. Furthermore the agent Skylar confirmed on phone that there was no problems with the flat and only minior cleaning needed done and I would get my deposit back soon. I spent hours cleaning before moving out, would of lost all my deposit if i left it as "clean" as they had it when moving in. Be aware and get as many pictures and evidence and email transcipts as you can. They will try to take your money regardless.

Following a house fire at our home we needed a rental at speed and the ideal property became available. Kath couldn't have been more helpful in arranging the rental and guiding us through the process as we have not previously rented. She assisted us with any queries that we had and appears responded really quickly. I'd also like to mention Kiri who was always incredibly professional when carrying out the inspections and again was always really helpful.
