We would highly recommend MGY Pontcanna to others. We chose MGY after meeting Oliver due to his enthusiasm for the property and his polite, professional and relaxed manner. We felt he would help us achieve the best price for our property and indeed, he went out his way to gain maximum exposure of the property to potential buyers. Throughout the process Oliver and his team kept us informed every step of the way and gave us honest feedback after each and every viewing. When it came to closing the sale, Oliver facilitated this personally despite him being on holiday which we greatly appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to choose MGY Pontcanna again if we were ever due to sell in the area again. Thank you!

My partner and I had the worst experience with this company. We signed the tenancy agreement with them and went to move in to a flat and when we got there it was uninhabitable as the electricity and water hadn’t even been turned on. My partner had already ended his previous tenancy agreement and was just starting a new job so this was very stressful for us. After speaking on the phone we came to an agreement that we would move the move in date forward but it was ready so we could move in whenever. About halfway through that time we decided we would do that. The landlord then told us we were not to move in until the new agreed date. After speaking to Jonathan on the phone he basically told us in a more dressed up way that none of this was his problem anymore. Worst of all, he told me it was not in his jurisdiction to ensure that the information we were being told by the landlord was not a lie. If you are trying to rent, do yourself a favour and don’t bother with this company. Had I been more informed about the fact the company model is actually quite useless I would have gone elsewhere.

Avoid renting with this company! If I could put 0 stars I would as I have never experienced such awful customer service and unprofessionalism - Writing on behalf of my family member. From the start of our renting journey with Chris John to the end when they had been taken over by MGY it was just an absolute nightmare. Rude staff, no urgency whatsoever to complete repairs even when urgent and just generally unprofessional. You can be waiting days if not weeks for a response or update. Even once we vacated the property the company continued to be rude and unhelpful. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Rude staff, I'm a mature student age 30 and work part time in the NHS as well as studying, they refuse to even let me view properties well within my price range simply because I am a student. As soon as I say I am a student, despite my income, they immediately decline the viewing. Ridiculous attitude and makes finding a property close to the hospital near impossible.
