I've had a lovely experience purchasing my first home with Thomas Syms from Winkworth. He has been very positive, friendly and helpful throughout the process. He got what I was looking for early in the search and really helped me to find the place that was right for me (even though I didn't think it from the pictures at all!). He kept me up to date every step of the way, and whenever lawyers weren't responding he could help move things along quickly. Thank you!

You should learn how to treat people, and to don’t do gazumping which is disgusting behaviour I will make sure everyone knows about this . And not that just, you also accepted our offer in writing subject to nothing.

They valued our house and told us they could sell it with an open day within a couple of weeks. Winkworth promised us they had a large list of buyers at our asking price looking in our area, on this basis we decided to agree a contract with Winkworth. The open day never occurred as promised and it soon became apparent that there was no list of potential buyers and within three weeks, Winkworth asked us to drop our asking price on the basis this would attract more potential buyers and we could hold an open day.As we both work full-time, long hours and have two young children an open day was our preferred option which was one of the main reasons we picked Winkworth.Yet again and even though we had now dropped the price, Winkworth were unable to hold an open day and we had a trickle of “buyers” at inconvenient times. Some of these said they weren’t even interested in buying. For example, one visitor said they just wanted to compare the size of the rooms to a house in a nearby street, of course this info is on Right Move.We feel completely let down by Winkworth. We selected them over two others on the basis of their original promise and they completely failed to deliver on this. Had we selected one of the other estate agents we may have sold our house.

Great agency, as well as being really focused on finding the right buyer they put tremendous energy into helping make sure the selling process goes smoothly including liaising with both the buying and selling solicitors and keeping everyone on track until completion. Highly recommend, very personal personal service.

Winkworth Kensal Rise have always been excellent to deal with. They are proactive, efficient and friendly. We have used them to let our properties for many years now and have never had any problems at all. I would strongly recommend.

I used winkworth borehamwood...the sale price confirmation was spot on..however i was taken aback with the recommendations and i quote .." I would say to move items in2 your loft but it would b a hassle"..despite my walls throughout my flat are painted magnolia and are in pristine condition...it was recommended that i whitewash the entire flat...finally my flat is cluttered and i appreciate that i need to declutter prior to selling the property...despite this obvious fact the sales negotiator seemed continually irritated and indifferent when i mentioned retiling the kitchen. My personal expectation was that he make reasonable and professional recommendations....in conclusion i found him slightly patronising and not someone who was able to see the broader picture...I also felt he did not know the block of flats at all.

The staff at Winkworth have been amazing through the whole process of selling our property. Love the way the viewings are sent through on text messages, love the prompt and courteous feedback and especially love the way the staff remained calm, supportive and professional from start to finish. Bournemouth branch , avoid , no customer service Advertised a property that wasn’t available, then tried to tell me a three bed property was no big enough for a couple and 2 children ? When I call them they say the property is not available Awful service do not trust your property with these people
Dear Mr Attwater. We are always disappointed to receive feedback such as yours and therefore the matter has been looked into. It appears that you enquired about the property 4 days after it came to the market however the office responded to your enquiry within 10 minutes of receiving it on Saturday morning at 8.29am. The team asked for more information from you regarding your personal requirements which was accommodation for 4 adults but unfortunately someone in the interim put in an application and offer for the property, and the team had to inform you that the property was not suitable for 4 adults. As you are aware, rental property can be in short supply and therefore demand can be equally very high; as it was in the case of this property. I am sorry that you were not successful on this occasion however it appears that the office acted appropriately given the high demand for the property in such a short timescale.
